Really, you guys keep saying stupid things like sending them to jail, get a grip, if your dumb enough to place an ad on CL and think your not going to get a call from someone you are dumber than dirt. These are live people trying to make a living off a website designed for that purpose. So either quit posting ads or suck it up and get over it. I'm in the real estate business and make a living off CL.

We are doing a wonderful job of exposing him and his web site.  Don't argue with him and don't worry; just continue to keep up the "GOOD WORK" people.  lol

I got a text with the same message. Contact us asap at our webite and give description and we will over you cash for your property. Ha, glad I checked it out before I even responded. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!
If they really wanted to buy it, don't you think they would call you outright and ask qustions?

Sounded strange since the property info was listed on line already.

I had just posted one on craiges list with all details exceot what color it was. with in 12 min I received mesg said "they had been atempeting to contact me all day,needed info, address etc..,for cash offer".

I just got a text message from 1(206) 504-2323 and it said the same thing as everyone else's, but mine said to visit the JPE Properties website. I have our home posted on craigs list too.

It really annoys the heck out of me getting text messages from jpeproperties with an offer to buy my house for cash (it is listed on CL). I shouldn't have to just "suck it up" when I'm paying for the texts!!

im getting same text messages but they r using different phone numbers all linked to "jpeproperties" cant stop it but i'm going to text back my response to them every hour and blow up thier phone with responses then.

This is a scam as well. You put your number in there, and it will be added to the perminantly call list. There is no reason for this man to honor your request. Everything about him is a lie, why would he be honest now?

They are texting me also with different cell numbers. I hate people like this!

My husband just received a text this morning. Same thing. Cash for your house. We were wondering how they got his cell phone #. We had just put an ad on Craigslist for something (not a home) and he received this text.  

I googled and address states Venice, CA, then also seems to trace to Florida. Then I noticed a different email to repond to. Obviously we knew it was a SCAM...so yes. beware...

I am a Realtor and have several properties listed; Craigslist is one place, also Postlets. no big deal to get a message. At least someone is reading the ad!!

Got a text message similar today.  I'm a REALTOR  in SC.  JPEProperties.com and the phone number they text'd from is 515-203-3316.
Message was, " hello we would like to make a cash offer on your property asap.  Please give us the quick info at www.jpeproperties.com".
I was on the road traveling and DIDN'T click on their web link! When I got home I did a search for their company name because I couldn't find any info on the phone number.
Some people are just unbelievable!  Really!
