I said no thanks I don't like scams.

I got a text message off of my ad on Craigs List, say the same as you all got, Cash offer for your property for sale.

Thanks to all of you for looking into it, I am alway suspicious of these things

I recieved a text messg from someone saying that they wanted to buy my property and would pay cash.

Just received the same text message from #67553 (RealEstate) hey I'm interested in  purchasing your poperty cash offer send us quick details send to XanProperties.com  Got my listing from Craigs List.  Glad I read your information.  Thought it was a skam.  there was no call back #. googled and got this page???

Mine was a text from 675-53.  Quote:  
(RealEstate) hey, I'm interested in purchasing your property.  Would like to make a cash offer. Please give us the quick details at http://www.XanProperties.com.

This site shows up as jpeproperties.com.

I too have a listing on craigslist.

I have the same message from the 67553 dude... My BIG QUESTION. . . is....How can we mark this outfit as spam so they don't keep scamming and spamming our cell phones..  I am on the do not call list, but I did run an ad on Craigslist..???  
Any ideas,  please post..

I got a message too and when I tried to go to the website....www.Xan.properties.com, it wouldn't come up. I texted back and said, "your website is a fake, leave me alone." I never heard back. I think that people that prey on seller who are trying hard to sell their homes should be jailed!!

Same thing here...and I don't have a data plan on my cell!  Jerks.  Again, through Craigs List ad (or one of the other FSBO sites I advertise on).  Thanks to everyone who's posted here.   ezliving asked a good question...how can we stop these people?

I got a text from the same number.Off my craigslist ad. don't follow the Link. I believe it's malicious

Please include me in the list of names on the list of spam. I listed property for sale in Georgia on Craigslist and received an email today from 67553 (Real Estate) XanProperties. I had suspicions and Googled to find out what I could. I found this page. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who is receiving this type of garbage. My advice to anyone who gets any message that sounds questionable would be: "When in doubt, check it out."

I received the same message via text and email. I did a google search and found this info which confirmed my suspicions of a scam.  In addition to that I went to the site xanproperties.com and it again confirmed my suspicions, however I did find SOMETHING NOTE WORTHY.   There is a link to have your number or email removed from the site. so obviously don't give out your personal info or give any additional info just go and get your info that they already have removed.

So you really think that entering your phone number (and revealing your IP address) online will stop the calls? Post your number up on here, I've got some great swampland err I mean prime commercial property at a cheap price just for you.

I just got this exact same message 5 min. ago.  I have learned to Google before I do ANYTHING now and this is what I found.  Saves a LOT of time and worry!

I am a Realtor in Virginia. I received a similar TEXT message today. The phone number was not complete: 675-53  & it gave a website of: XanProperties!! BEWARE

I just recd the same message fr Xanproperties also with a 5 digit number, I did ask which property (which I have 2 on Craig's list) for mobile homes not re I never recd a response so I knew something was up, this just confirmed it for me thanks alot.

I got a text on Aug 6th. I don't click on unknown links and googled just now and here I am. Also, on my phone I did not have a phone number I had a 5 digit number. It is nice to know how they got my number and I have more than one property listed on Craigslist.

I've been receiving them too.  Just text back saying "stop" and you'll get a confirmation that they've removed you from their call list.  T-mobile educated me on getting those kind of texts to stop.
