I took the call.  So here are some tips:

To keep it short, tell them you're married to Rupert Murdoch.  

Also, they need to get through the survey as quickly as possible.  So if you have the free time, see how long you can keep them on the phone.  Ask them their opinion on things, ask them the same questions they're asking you, whatever...and then when they ask the last 2 questions:  how many live in your household and how old are you, give them ridiculous answers.  It invalidates the survey.

They will ask if you or anyone in your family works for a radio, newspaper, television, etc.  If you want to keep it short and not have them call you again, the answer is "yes."  They will ask which?  I said all of them, I'm married to Rupert Murdoch.  They were going to end the survey but I told them I was kidding so I could find out more.

I kept them on the phone for almost a half hour.

Scarborough has  called everyday for the last two or three weeks, Laura Kinkaid, if that is her real name, had the gall to write me a scolding letter and send me a whopping amount of a dollar to make me feel bad. I do not care about their scam survey. I don't see anybody surveying if I have enough food or can I pay my light bill this summer. I am going to send that dollar back to them and tell them what to do with it. Somehow, they need to be taught a lesson for being so cowardly and hiding their idenity behind a phone call. I am furious and fed up with these cowards.

I tell them it is $50.00 to answer a question.  They say we will send it.  I say sent the money, I will send you a special code and when you call have it available and I will answer the call.  Mostly ignore the ring.

The calls I got were from "Scarborough Research". I ignored them until I got a letter from a Laura Kincaid saying they really needed to survey me for TV viewing - even enclosed a dollar and an e-mail address. So I sent an an e-mail explaining that I don't answer anonymous calls. I got a reply saying I had been picked and couldn't be replaced on their list (!!?). I answered the next time. They said they wanted to ask the person in my house with the most recent birthday, so I asked my wife. She said "No". The representative said they would take us off their list. They called again a week later.

Oh goody. Now that I know it's a research company, I do think I'll answer the next time and tell them that I'll answer their survey questions after they answer mine, which is (in a really creepy voice) ... "What are you wearing?" *lip smack* Friend of mine did that once and never got another call. :D

the number 800-753-6043 is a recording that thanks you for calling and says they'll call again at a more convenient time.  It does NOT give the option of having your number removed!!!  probably means I'll get more calls from the same number!

These people have been calling nonstop. My 12 yr old answered when they called last night, they were extremely rude to him. If it works to request getting my # taken off their list, I would like to know!

They are allowed to call because they are not a solicitor.  The DO NOT CALL list does not apply to surveys, political calls, bill collectors, etc.  It will only eliminate calls from solicitors.

They are a research company called Scarborough Research.  They get numbers randomly from a data base.  I told them to remove my number from the database.

These folks continue to call and harass ...

Woman called at 10:45 PM said she was Scarborough Research.  Ask if she knew what time is was?  She said aaaaaaaa? Told her never to call again!!!

I suggest contacting senior management of the firm to request immediate removal of your phone number from any & all of their calling lists, if you want to stop these calls.

If that does not work, I'm sure filing in Small Claims Court for harassment will.  Especially if they are wasting your cell phone minutes!

They have called six nights in a row, all at 9:30 p.m.  Ended up blocking the number.

My caller ID identified them as SCARBOROUGH RES.  Have no idea who they are, but it is the 2nd time they called me.  I blocked the first number, now I have to block this one.  I amalso reported them to the Nat'l do not call list for the 2nd time.

I believe they sell insurance, which they may need if i find them. they keep calling and calling. do not call list is a joke.

Yes, they have called us numerous times and finally got my husband to answer about 10 minutes of detailed personal questions.  What an invasion of privacy.  Their names are:

Very weird that a research group would use these people.  On facebook they look like hoods... giving the middle finger with the gangster look.... kinda strange if you asked me.

They could be a scam for break ins... who knows

I believe that they are SINISTER... so beware!

These people have called before... It's some sort of survey.  I told them the first time to take me off their list.  So they call again!!  I am on the Texas and National NO CALL LISTS

Remove my telephone number from your list.

Someone is PAYING them for their "research".  This is not non-profit, it's invasive and it shouldn't be allowed.

Continue to get calls from this number.  Sometimes late in the evening.  Sent email from their web site asking why the do not call lists do not apply to them.
