Just got a call from a woman who doesn't speak English very well.  She kept saying hello but did not respond when I answered.  Think she must need to make a certain number of calls a day and since they are not panning out just stays on your line as long as you let her; this way it counts as one of the calls needed to make her quota.  She hung up after about 5 minutes..

They have called no less than twice a day . When I answered phone nobody there.

I heard from a friend about this scam. It goes like this or so I was told... An UNKNOWN number calls your phone. When you answer, they some how piggy-back on you number and place international calls.This happens so fast (within seconds) at the beginning of the call that it is virtually undetectable. I have heard the call is usually routed through an international long distance carrier base in Madagascar. So now I have to ask...did the caller say "Tune-et" or Tunis? ( :

They keep calling me and even ones it was at 3: a.m( obviously call came from somewhere  outside of US).
It is very annoying and frustrating to get this call from IT department. I asked  last night what company you are calling from? was no answer to that. Is anyway that can be reported to stop that nonsense and scam?

I also just got a call, just like that, same number, same strange English accent. When he started telling he was from the it department I told him sure he was, I know it is a scam, to never call me again and I hung up!

My caller ID on my cell phone said +1 (212) 10 so I knew it wasn't legit and never answered.  I've also received the "Out of State" ID but it should say "Out of Country".  Best advice, don't answer and if no voice message then block the number
