Same deal as others describe heavy Asian accent telling me he was from IT and that I was the primary computer user.  told him whatever he was selling I didn't want and hung up.  Apparently the do not call list means nothing to these people.

I received a call from that number earlier today. Did not answer. Got the number from caller ID.

Apparently they're still operating. The woman who called today opened by asking to speak to "the owner of the computer." Sure would be OK with me if someone were to investigate and then shut them down. There must be enough responses they consider favorable to them that they don't quit  so presumably someone is being taken in. How do they get the phone numbers of those of us with cell (unlisted) phones who are on the Do Not Call list?

077 isn't even a valid phone prefix in the US.  Nice try scammers.

I got the same call 5 minutes ago.  No one answered when I said "Yeah!, What do you want?" I know this scam phone number.

Watch out for those so called help sites. They must have spyware on them. Interesting how they can then search databases to match your IP add with your phone. There is no stopping these scoundrels

I received a call today from 212-077-4568.  Caller ID said name unavailable.  Caller had a very strong accent.  He said I was having problems with my computer and that everytime I went on my computer to email or Facebook there was spyware in my computer.  He said he was calling everyone with Microsoft who was having this problem and wanted to help me get rid of the problem.  He asked if my computer was on so he could tell me what to do.  I was suspicious of the call and told him I did not believe him and I hung up.  
This is the second time I have received a call like this.

There is nothing harmless about many of these people who call claiming to need to 'fix' your computer or whatever nonsense they start they conversation with when they call your home or business. Microsoft does not make random housecalls and neither does any major computer maker. A 'Mr Andrew Johnson' with a thick middle eastern accent called my business line and  was rude and obnoxious when I explained to him that I worked for the IT company who owns my computer and obviously, he wasn't prepared for this type of response and became absuive. These people want access to your computer to download harmful malware, try to get you to give them your debit or credit card number to correct the issue, and their end goal in many cases is identify theft. People should not take calls from these people lightly and should warn friends and family members to simply hang up, especially older folks with computers who may not question a call from 'Microsoft'. As always, report the calls.

I told the person I didn't call for tech support n was trying of being scammed to lose my number. Then hung up on him.
Called the number it was not in service. Scammers I hate  them all.

Total scam. Thick accent, hard to understand. But I understood enough to know it was BS

just got the call from guy with very thick foreign accent--Indian, perhaps, saying he was from the "Windows operating system" and was calling about an "awareness problem". Had to ask him to repeat multiple times till I could understand that much. Asked who he was calling and he had no name, just wanted the "main computer user". Told him to send an email and hung up. Hopefully this was some phone scam where I'm gonna get billed just for answering my phone!

Called me at 4:30 Pacific time from this 212 [Manhattan] number.  I used my favorite ploy of answering the phone and placing it next to a playing radio.  I never know if they enjoy the music, because they never call back!

Extremely rude and pushy scammer. Very heavy accent. Told me to check my computer and found that it was "highly infected". I hung up, he called back 4 times even though I hung up on him every single time. Got very hostile with me as well. This was my business line too.

I just want these stupid calls to stop.  I don't have time to answer 6-10 calls day and night,especially since all of them are scam calls.  They also call my cell phone.  When I don't recognize the number I just let it ring until it goes to voice mail or answering machine  and then they hang up, of course.  I have both of my numbers on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but it doesn't do any good.  Fortunately I can block calls to my cell phone for 90 days and then I have to reblock them.  But when I block the first five (limit) then I still get other calls.   It seems like the government can do so many things regarding spying on the American people - why can't the FTC or some other branch put a stop to these calls?????

Ya they just called and I tied them up for about 10 minutes and it was kinda fun they suggested I start my computer so they can help me and show me why its running so slow.  I told them the computers running slow because its cold out.  I don't think they will call again.  Next time ask for yowanda, yowanda make my car payment!

They keep calling and I don't answer because I have read it is a scam.

I just told them my name was Heywood....Heywood Jablowme....he kept calling me Mr. Jablowme after that....its a scam to give them access to your computer.  They do this so that they can scare you into following their instructions, and then they gain remote access to your computer.  Then they can steal any passwords, especially to banking info.  if they call you, hang up.

I answered the phone with the mute button pressed. No one spoke on caller end. The caller disconnected after one minute.

I added the number to my block list. Any number on that list that calls my numbers receives a 'not in service' tone and error message.
