Call came in on my mobile phone - no message left.  I googled that number before calling it - and now, after having read what others had to say, am grateful I did not call back; would have wasted cellphone time as a very best result...    Thank you to everyone who cared enough to write a warning about 213-325-3204!

Do not talk to these people!! They are a scam...I've had to change my cell, email and bank acct info.......You have been warned!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number, I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it. Instead, I googled it.  Thank you all for the heads up!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM.  

I got a call from this number today.  I applied for a Non-Profit Coordinator job on either CareerBuilder or Hotjobs...and apparently, it was a scam.  They had me fill out some application info on jobspositionpro.com, and then two days later (today!) I got the call from 213-325-3204.  I spoke with Autumn, who wanted to "verify my personal info".  I went through with it, still not quite aware it was a scam until afterward.  

I just posted a report on ripoffreport.com and hopefully it'll show up on the site soon.  

I called the number back and waited for "Autumn" to answer; I told her to purge my info from the system.  Autumn said she removed all of my information, and then ended the call.  It's now been two hours, and I'm going to dial back right now and give them my phone number to see if they still have my info....

3. "Employment Select provides screening services, blah blah etc...A Verification Specialist will be with you shortly..."
4. Jammin' to muzak...
5. "Mike" answers.  "Can I have your phone number please?" (I give it to him)
6. HE IMMEDIATELY HAS MY INFORMATION.

Even though I told "April" to delete it, "Mike" was able to pull up my name two hours later.  Don't trust these guys.  I told "Mike" to delete my information, and he told me that he could only "mark me as uninterested".  I told him again to delete all traces of my information, and he responded with "look, dear, I just work at a call center.  I can't do that."

DEAR!?!

I first recieved a call today from 213.325.3204, same message as rest, about verifying my information. I too, applied for numerous jobs, a couple through careerbuilder, others through milwaukeejobs.com. I called back but got the recording, then it just dropped the call. After that I checked the number and found this site...thanks to whomever started it! Those [***]!

I just recieved a phone call from that number, but didn't answer cuz I didn't reconize the number, but it left a voicemail about being busy and wait for a rep. I was curious to see if it was a scam or floweracrossamerica.com cuz i sent flowers to my G/f flowers for a her birthday and found all these postings. I will join the Lawsuit if you want my entry. THIS IS NUMBER IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

I also just received a message from them, It was automated, told me that it had something to do with a job I applied for.  They had me on hold for a while and told me a representative would be with me shortly. Eventually I got disconnected. Went immediately on-line because it appeared suspicious and see all of your comments. Has anyone had any problems with long distance charges on your phone? The first thing I thought of was that they were tapping into my land line. I sure hope that careerbuilder is not involved in this!

I just got a call from this number as well...i was on hold for a while and then it hung up about 2 minutes into the phone call! I tried calling back twice but it does the same thing. I just hope they don't harass me.

I get calls on my cell phone from 213-325-3204, 720-684-4080 (upwards of 20+ calls with a week) and 877-860-9994 after applying for an administrative job online. SCAMS!

Got a call on my cell, will I was in the shower. Automated message said

"please hold for next verification specialist, at which time they will tell

you more about the job"

THIS SMELLS!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO.. I HAVE WORKED ALL OVER THE WORLD

FOR SOME VERY LARGE COMPANIES AND NEVER HAVE THEY RESORTED TO THIS PRACTICE TO GATHER INFORMATION.

I got a call from the same number this morning at 6:04 AM. I have also put my name and number out on Career Builder. There was no message left, but what kind of company calls to confirm anything about a job at 6am?? We are both in the same time zone....

Thanks for the heads up! I just found a job and have removed all my on line info, yet I still received this bogus verification call.  Delete, Delete.

Same thing - message from this # said they were calling to verify info for a company I applied to for employment. Called the # and got disconnected after 5 minutes. The only place my resume is posted is on Career Builders - I am immediately removing it and reporting it to them before someone steals my identity! Beware! Never answer a call from this # or the 213 area unless you know who it is.

I received a call today from 213-325-3204, they left a recorded message and all I could get was "...the reason for this call is in referrence to the application you applied for the job, please hold for the next representative..." Did not get a name or a company name. Glad I saw this website before calling back! Like a few others, I am also looking for a job and tired of getting 'dead end' calls.

Got a call and answered and always know its bad news when you get put on hold right away.  Anyway, so I thought I'd listen and see what's up.  Almost like that, the call dropped.  I have no clue what job this might be for since I'm on Monster and Careerbuilder, but the majority of my applications go through either a company's website or Craigslist.  Honestly, if a company does not want to go through a traditional searching means or a recruiter, it's probably a scam.  I simply can't believe though that people prey on others like this.

I got a call this morning at 8:03 from this phone number. I was in the kitchen, and did not hear it ring. I thought about calling it back but got on here instead. Thank you everyone for giving me a heads up!

I did not apply for anything from CareerBuilders, so it could not have been them for me.
