company called while I was actually involved in a job search at the local state employment agency.

I didn't recognize the call.  They did not leave a message

this morning at about 11 my cell phone rang. i answered it and it was a recording about some job application i had filled out it told me to hold on the line and a representative will be right with me...i hung up cause i was awakened from a dead sleep and  thought it was a telemarketer. then i thought about it and looked it up...i am soooo not calling back. i don't even remember applying for anything for the place they said. i don't remember the place but i know for sure who i apply to and that wasn't it...

these holes need to be caught.

this is a scum.i guess i called to this same number and they don't respond to me.

I received a call this afternoon and this was the return number they gave me, listed below. The number that appeared on caller ID was from VOXBONE/NYC2 #212-601-9695. I was told that they were doing employment verification for a company called Invert Solutions. I did not remember applying to this company and my husband being in security has taught me to be cautious. I was not going to spend 25-45 minutes answering questions regarding personal information on a resume I don't remember sending, and after checking my sent items, I had not sent Invert Solutions anything. Checked VOXBONE, they are a provider of virtual phone numbers, they are untraceable. So heads up everyone, for those of us job hunting in this difficult economy we now have one more boogie man to look out for.

I recieved a phone call from this number, and had applied for several positions recently through employment agency website. But did not leave any message. I called back at this number and automated answering machine picked up stating the call was from Employment Select and a verification representative will be with you shortly.  I called different times, even 3 AM and the answering machine picked up again. I thought this was wierd at 3 AM? Well, I called three times different days of the week and times, but put me on hold for exactly 2:29 minutes and cuts me off. Every time.

Is this service legitimate? I would like to know, What is going on with our personal application info?

I have a different spin on this phone number. It was used in an email I received from a company calling themselves Trendline Evaluation Agency. They stated they recieved my email address from a resume I posted (which I did) and they were offering me a job as a professional shopper / survey taker. The email was not professionally written and was signed Jason Coffman, HR Deputy Director. They wanted my contact info but I believe this is some sort of scam and will avoid them.
