    Ticked Off!!
Rude woman calls me all too often for a Juan Ramos. At first I was polite and said I'm not Juan and I don't know a Juan Ramos. This is not his number and it's been my number for quite a few years. She asked a lot of questions which I assume she was trying to "catch" me in a lie. She asked if it was a cell # and I said yes and so she muttered it must be his old line and hung on me. I figured good riddence. But the calls didn't end! Just now got yet another to which I was very blunt. This isn't Juan Ramos. I don't know a Juan Ramos. Who is this and why do you keep calling me when I've told you this already? Please remove my number. She told me she can't!!! Juan Ramos would have to call and change HIS number!!! Are you effen serious?? This company is a harassing nightmare that unfortunately you don't even have the choice of dealing with. If you get a call from them- be direct and ask for a supervisor and tell them you are reporting them.

Believe it or not, called and asked me about a neighbor down the road. Wanted his phone number, where he worked, etc.  Told him the truth; I don't even know this man.  Asked me to post his name "Greg Fagen" on the neighbor's door along with this phone number 215-244-4200.  Then I find out this is a collection agency - call the Sheriff's Department if you want messages forwarded - I'm an innocent neighbor!

This is a collection agency they have violated the FDCPA laws & they need to be closed down but the only way to help is to report them to the FTC maybe the BBB they have accts that were sold to them from various companies & they use their accuraunt & look up by SSN and get info such as address neighbors last known job etc. & they won't stop calling I have previously worked for a collection agency & I know how it works they don't care about you. You can't be put on a do not call list it's not telemarketing. They probably have auto dialers and they do what's called phone blasting and they put any number you may have had or that may have contact with you in a dialer and it sends out computer messages first then after so many dials it will put the call into the agents cue. Don't be frightened by them they can't make you pay a dime. Worst mistake for you to do is get on a auto plan over the phone it's not going to change anything in the pc it will show as open active acct with pymnt plan. Don't give in.

A guy named Paul Allen keeps calling and identifying himself as being from the law firm of Silver and Associates, threatens me with a lawsuit and telling me to call him back at a different number. I have called this number and the extension he gives, but no return phone call, he has called my last place of employment, my ex-wife and who knows who else... He seems to be a real jerk who can't get a real job and gets his kicks out of being a tough guy on the phone, I would like to meet him face to face to find out how bad he really is....

Women named Lori Toner called leaving her contact information as 215-244-4200, extension 1485. She stated that it was important. I returned the call thinking that it was related to work since my employers number was used to contact me. I don't recall having any business connections with this company who represented themselves as NBC Beneficial Bank.  I ultimately hung up on the caller due to the fact that she would not identify the purpose for her call and her tone of voice began to changed from professional to unprofessional.

Just got a call from A Phil Sullivan from this company, who registered on my caller ID as National Credit Management 215-244-4200. Very RUDE person and Very, Very unprofessional.Asked a lot of question about a neighbor that I  thought was very inappropriate for the telephone (especially in this day and age). I eventually just hung-up on him, but then he called my cell phone and I again told him that his company was made up of crooks and thieves and I do not do give information to your kind of people.

Got a call ... whenever an unknown number calls, I pick up and listen, often there is no one there. On the other end I hear coughing, then "hello? hello? when you pick up and don't say anything, people tend to think you're slow".
So I replied "F*** off. How is that for slow?"
    Then hung up.

Sure, perhaps that was uncalled for, but you don't call someone a [***] with a smug tone when your job is to call people who don't want to talk to you.

Got a call from Mrs Williams on April 28th, 2008. On my cell phone, some how my parents received a call and I got a call at work with in minutes. I told her I would call her back that evening. I did. I said I could pay $100 right now (I owe $1080, she said need the full amount or they would take me to court garnish my wages, put a lein on my car. This is a shock to me I never have been in this situtaion for my 38 years. I freaked. I said I would see what I could do. The Friday before I get a letter from Silver & Associates. Doesn't say when I have to pay just all future correspondence & payments concering this accout to the address above. Anyways I didn't call her back when I said I would cause I don't have the full amount. Called me again on May 5th said holding my account until Wednesday. I didn't call her back I sent a $100 check and letter to the company that sent me the letter.  She called me today, harrassing me at work. I am not going to give her my account over the phone. I want to pay this debt, I owe this money, I just can't do it all at once. I don't know how they got my family numbers or my work number. If anyone has any worth while advise let me know. Because I don't know anything about this stuff.

Called and asked for me by last name (I'm listed in the phone book). Asked me if I knew a neighbor (he gave neighbors name and address). Told him I didn't know the person. Asked me to take down his number and put it on the neighbors door. I asked him who was he and why didn't he have the neighbors number. He said - "my name is Greg Fagen - she will know who I am". Told him that I didn't think it was appropriate for me to put a message on someone's door from a person who I didn't know. He was speaking in a very matter-of-fact tone and trying to sound authoritive. I told him that he needed to find another way to contact that person (certified letter perhaps??) and he needed to lose my number. What makes these people think if the person they are trying to reach won't contact them that a note from a neighbor will. Sounds like the collection agencies have another tactic in trying to embarass people - The number on caller id 215-244-4200 NCB

forgot to mention that this is not the first time this company has called me , it happened a lot in the last few years i finally called and talk to a manager/supervisor and told them to take me off their listing and that these people that are calling me are horribly rude and i do not want my time wasted by people i have no association with. The man I spoke with apologized and said the calls would stop they did for about 7 months, now its started again. I'm sick of this [***].

Guy named "Mike Morris" called and left 800 number and some "case file" to quote. When I returned call he said he was looking for Adam ***. I told him I never heard of Adam. He insisted it was my relative and that I was lying. I then asked why he was asking stupid questions and he replied "stupid questions for stupid people". I told him to F**k off. He subsequently left a message calling me "Logeyboy", "pal" and "partner" while insisting I know who this Adam person is and that I better tell him to call. Ultimate foundless harassment in the phone realm. These idiots must be stopped. They obviously pick a name from the phone book and fish for connections to a bad debt. And I have a 796 credit rating !

I changed my phone number with the phone company Quest 3 years ago.  Within the first 2 days of having this "new" phone number, I began receiving calls for a "Kathleen Boone" from: Discover, Sam's Club, Walmart, Home Depot, HOM Furniture, Lowe's...... Not only that but, even her family was calling looking for her..... she must have not wanted to be found by anyone..... you name it, I've probably talked to every credit card company and collection agency out there.  By contacting Quest after my voicemail was full of messages from all of these agencies, I found out that they had given me her "old" number less than 6 months after she disconnected it.  As soon as I explained to all of these "creditors" the situation they were polite, backed off and took my number out of their databases.  Except for this NCB..... They have called me off and on over the last three years.  Never leaving messages until tonight...... I came home and found a message from a "Juan Ramos" looking for -who else- "Kathleen Boone".  I called "Mr. Ramos" back and left a message for him to take my phone number out of their database IMMEDIATLY.  What I find odd is that it's been over a year since this company last tried to contact her at my number.  I told them to take my number out of their system a year ago..... I told this "Juan Ramos" that he can contact Quest and they can explain that they screwed up.  I have lived with my phone ringing off the hook day and night the last three years with callers looking for this woman..... if anyone know's this "Kathleen Boone", tell her "Juan Ramos" is looking for her..... AAARGHHHHH!!!!! :( :( :(

This guy is calling my cell phone and my work phone. Every time I return the call i just got a voicemail.
Asking for a person to talk, they just sent me to voicemail again.
They refuse to reveal the company name.

They always say 800-828-1110 and the caller ID shows 215-244-4200.

They may use the names National Credit Bureau, Beneficial, NCB Management, Beneficial Bank, NCB Bank, etc.

Very unprofessional, rude and refuse to take your number out of the list.

Anybody affected by this company, contact the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA) and file an ethics complaint. You can do it at their web page www.acainternational.org. Also, contact your local BBB.

I have had a problem with my account and they helped resolve the situation. They guided me to resolve my credit bureau and I am on top of my finances. I appreciate what they have done and after reading all your complaints maybe if you look in the mirror, which I realise thats hard to do and understand they are just doing their job.
