I got a call from a guy named Greg at NCB saying my loan was bought by them because I was behind and to make a deal with them, because my loan company would only refer meback to NCB. So I stupidly did. This was Friday. On Monday, in the mail, I received the statement for NCB, also the same day I received a statement from my loan company to catch up on my payments and had three weeks to do it. When I called NCB to try to explain this and stop my agreement with them Greg yelled at me and accused me of wanting to file bankruptcy and hung up on me. They refused to talk to me. Plus they lied stating I had no choice but to deal with them. I am going to turn this all over to my attorney.

This company is NOT a collection agency. Their office number is 877-901-8400 which is listed in the yellow pages/411 as Apollo Car Rental in New Rochelle, NY. I also received a call and when the agent thought he had hung up the phone, he stated "we are going to make millions!".. then continued on with vulgarity. I called them back, still would not tell me their company name but stated I owed them a collection and I *had* to pay them over the phone and give them my checking account information. I refused, of course. I have turned them into the FBI. Do NOT give these people any information. They are NOT legit.

Called my work number and told the receptionist to put him into my superviors voice mail. She refused because she figured out the "John Lehman" was a creditor. He started yelling at her and hung up. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

WOW:::: I just talked to Dennis Roberson with National Creditors Bureau. I have never been called as many names and my character besmirched as I did from Mr Roberson.  Fortunately I was recording it and plan to play it back to the company that hired him.  So much for the Fair Debt Collection law.  Interesting part is that he never identified himself as a debt collector.  And he also admitted he was trying to get me to become unraveled. From the beginning of the call he was so abusive that instead of becoming mad, it became funny to me and I was able to gig him along to the point of him saying that I did not have the smarts of a seven year old.  I hope he calls back again, I had three people listening to the call including my attorney, and I am sure he is going to continue to let his mouth overload his butt

keep calling my son who is under 18. I have a good mind to report them for being child predators. He is getting very upset and although he never answers the phone, he has to listen to the messages to clear out his message box.

The lady Debbie from there keeps calling me on a debt that they are trying to seek that was fraudulent. I did have a credit card with WAMU, but it was stolen and used and I did report it and they never did anything for an investigation and now they are trying to seek the funds.

I got this call early this morning at 7am! She wanted to know where this person was and I told her to stop calling me and hung up...this is the second time they have called...I have family in another state, someone in the military and it scares me when I get a call that early in the morning...my heart was racing thinking something happened to one of my family...I want these calls stopped!

Just got a call from these guys. Gentleman identified himself as Gilbert. Wouldn't say why he was calling, and had to drag it out him that he was from NCB. He wouldn't say what NCB was or what they did. He wouldn't even say what the call was about. Just "business", when i told him i don't do "business" with shady people that call me up out of the blue and demand money, he hung up on me!
Shame since i am current on all my bills, i would have liked to found out who does business with these guys so i can not do business with THEM forever.

Just received a call... Wrong Number, but I always investigate weird numbers on my cell phone. The gal asked for Cory. No introduction, no description of what the call was in regards to.

They called and asked about my neighbor. She made it seem like she was worried. She asked me to put a note on their door. As she was giving me the info I questioned her & she hung up. What if my kid would have answered? She might have been scared that someone was calling asking about them.

This B**CH called my ex wife child and stated she needed to contact me and it was an extreme emergency. Then the B*tch called me and left a very rude message. She did not identify herself, but for her sake I hope she does not call me back. I have a few choice words for her upsetting my ex's family.

Called asking if I knew a neighbor down the road.  I said no, and they stated that they've been trying to get ahold of her but her phone is no longer is service.  Asked if I would leave a note on her door to call John Leck @ 215-244-4200.  It sounded like a long lost friend or something.  Like a dummie, I almost did it and then figured I'd better do a search on this number to see who it actually is.  Sure am glad I did.  Looks like they're trying to get neighbors and family involved hoping to shame someone into paying.  I can understand them trying to collect, but this is below what even a slug would do.  Hope he calls back now so that I can use the air horn on him.

I have been get calls from this number also, ext. 1432 Mike T_?. It kind of sounds like he is saying Throwell??, his last name has yet to be clear.
I do not like to call back people who do not clearly id themselves or the company the are calling from/for, I rarely call them back (I have a mailbox also, they need to learn to use it also instead of just calls).  I like to know who I am calling so I can have my paperwork if any in front of me & know what's what before I call back so I can atleast make a half way intelligent call back if need be; afterall they know, they would not make the call without the info they need. He called again today with the final call stuff, last day & they will persue (WHO will??) DUH, I did not get home till after 5 & I did call, he was not available, I left message. If it is a debt collector they usually trying to trap you into a commitment on the spot before you have all the details on your end. Once I made payment arrangements with a different company for half my balance, I was grateful. Then they sent me paperwork they had split the account balance in two & wanted another plan for they other half of the balance, Well that made the agreement not what I thougth I was agreeing to. *ALWAYS have them send you the account #, balance ect in mail or fax before you agree/sign anything; afterall, you are not in control of what they are entering on their computer during your conversation. Some companies will actually treat you decent & will work with you.

They left a message on my machine saying my name and "We have a big problem" and repeated it several times. I called this # and got a recording that they were closed after 5 on Friday. It was 5:03.

New details....Brett Silver is now Chair of the Board and Marcelo Aito is the CEO as of April 2008.  Sounds like he'd knee cap ya! They are rude, continually calling my employer...etc.  Legal action pending.

Do not confuse this NCB with the banks of the same name.

They called my friend who is not on any of my accounts but he was called looking for me.  This person is crazy and has no right calling my friends with my issues.  I would like to know how they liked his name with mine?

They are only doing their job if they contact the RIGHT person.. the deadbeat who defaulted on his/her loans. If they call me asking me why my brother in law would use my number as his own (DUH!), or to call him for them, or to post a note on my neighbor's door, etc., then they ARE NOT doing their job. Send a certified letter to the address on file, send the sheriff to the home, drive there themselves... anything but asking me, an innocent bystander, to do their dirty work.

And for heaven's sakes, take me off your list as a viable phone number after I've proven myself to not be the person you're looking for!!

This company is calling many of my clients and I have a background check in progress on this company. As a debt reduction company this is the first time in my 20 years of solving clients debts that I have run up on a company as this one.  I will report to everyone on these listings as soon as I get the details on this unlawful Company.  Everyone needs to call the Federal Trade Commission and report them and also the Attorney General in your state and the state of PA. This is the only way to shut them down.

I would like to start a class action lawsuit if anyone is interested. With enough heads, we can cause them some pain.

I will keep my eye on the boards to monitor for interest...if there is, I will repost and leave an email address to gather data.

Some a**hole named DeCosta has called my cell phone a couple of times, refused to talk to him and then he called my house and I asked him who was calling he only gave his name not the name of his company.  I told him that he had the wrong number and he said he did not.  Told him not to call me anymore and hung up on him.  I have not received any correspondence from these people and the credit laws state that they must send you correspondence within 5 days after the first call.  It has been more than 5 days.  Tomorrow I am send a cease and desist letter and filing a complaint with the FTC, BBB, and the States Attorney in the state they are located and the state in which I live.  These people are crazy they do not understand the word "NO!!!" or the phrase "DO NOT CALL ME."  Maybe everyone should get together and file a class action lawsuit against these people.  Please everyone take time out to complain about NCB and other collection agencies.  Get everything in writing and when you answer the phone be sure to have a tape recorder and record the conversation. Let them know as soon as you answer the phone that this conversation is being recorded, this will protect you if you live in the states that need a person's consent to record them.
