- Karen ErbachDo not want this party to call my cell.
- MI've been getting these calls almost every-other-day for the last month. They usually call early mornings and sometimes at night. I have friends and family that live in Chicago (where the 312 area code was based) so I answered the initial call thinking it may have been an emergency. Instead it was a survey center stating they were conducting a survey on the flu for the CDC. I politely declined their request stating that I was a teacher, in the middle of a class, and only answered because I thought their number could have possibly been an emergency and would appreciate it if they didn't call since my cellphone number is also signed up on the Do Not Call registry. They called back later that night and have been relentless since.

- Austin PThanks for putting this online! They keep calling, even at night when I am asleep!
I appreciate your comments! - GerryThey asked two questions I was not comfortable with:
How many people live in your home? Do you have a land line?
Whether it is legitimate or not these questions made me uncomfortable. Hypothetically, if I were casing a place to rob, these are two questions I would like answered.
They should take a different approach. - tammyi want these people to stop calling.

- JoeyThis number has called me about 4 times this month. What makes me angry now is that I have asked a live person...very nicely, too...to please stop calling because I was NOT interested in anything they had to say. But that didn't help...they still call. To me, that's just plain chicken [***]!!! So I'm reporting all the calls to the Do Not Call registry...if that helps at all. I'm really sick of the calls now! But it's nice to see that I'm NOT alone!
- Caller: They claim to be the CDC.
- legit replies to dave c| 1 replyNORC is a legitimate agency that is contracted by the CDC to conduct this study. This study helps protect children against potentially dangerous childhood diseases. This study is called NIS (national immunization Survey) this study is one of many that Norc is contracted by the CDC to conduct. If you are suspicious about this study of NORC go to www.cdc.gov/nis and do some research before counting it out as being a scam. People are always complaining about what the government does not do but when its time to help out every one is still complaining. No one is trying to coerce you did get vaccinations the CDC just uses this info to understand why many children are not getting there recommended vaccinations. All circumstances are different.
