received call from: on caller id it is: NELNET 402-875-9195  Telling me I had down loaded something that was harmful to my pc and going to make it crash. Wanted me to hit the ctrl and start button something about comparing clsid number would prove it was legitimate call?go figure.

We received since much over a year ago very often calls from the number 001-402-875'9195 (in a few cases, the last numbers were different, but recently not). In the past, a man with a heavy Indian accent was on the phone, but recently, after I told him of, it is woman who calls (maybe not always the same), also with a kind of an accent,but only a slight one. The usually say that they are from Window or from a technical department and that they have to fix a bug on our computer. If my wife answers or if i respond in German, French or Italian, they woman hang right up. If I ask for the place of their office, they usually say London, or United Kingdom, in a few cases also Basel.

I never comply with their wishes but they never seem to give up. In the last weeks, they are calling almost every second day, usually in the early afternoon our time. Since we speak English in our household, it happens that a say my name in English. Then the go on and try again. Who knows the caller?

I got calls from 001-402-875'9195 since at least 2 years. At first,it was always the same voice of a man speakin English with a very strong Indian or Pakistani prononciation. His English was hardly understandable. He claimed to call from the Windows office. On my request he said that his call from the UK orfrom London, once he even stated that he was calling from Basel, but that at their office they were not permitted to talk other languages than English. He kept calling even after I called him a liar. Lately, the voice of a woman is on the phone, much more polite than the man. She is calling usually in the early afternoon and hangs up, if my wife answers or if I answer in one of the Swiss language. Since we speak English in our family, I often answer the phone in English, and then the woman starts her story and wants me to open up our computer. In the last 2 weeks we get such a call almost every second day, which is really disturbing.

Got the call 3 times today. First 2 I missed. The recent one I picked up and told him he was right.... My computer is all messed up. He asked me what I was seeing and I told him some VERY explicit sexual images. I told him details. Lol. He got flustered and asked me why I'm watching that. I told him I'm NOT... It's the virus he's talking about. He told me to exit the screen and I would say "oh NO... Now I see(and gave another detail)." Finally he said rubbish and hung up!

Lol.... Try that one! It's fun!

I received a call from this number today.  It was a woman with an  accent.  She said you have windows on your computer and there is a problem.  I ask where she was calling from and she  said windows. I ask who she worked for and she did not answer me.  I then  told her I was not going to give her any information.  She said to me being very sarcastic "Did I ask you for your information"  I said excuse me and she hung up.   When I  tried to call the number back it would not go through to a ring.   My caller ID says NELNET

The idjits called again. I did not answer the phone. Caller ID: Nelnet. Apparently, they enjoy my NOT answering the phone. Whatever!

Got someone calling me from this number, and I know its a scam so I usually try to answer it so I can belittle the piece of s#*!t for calling me.  However, no one ever answers, and they simply hang up.  Dammit, if you're going to try and scam me, give me the chance to at least tell you to F*@k off first.

I want to find out what their mainline number is.  I'd like to return the favor, but the number goes nowhere.

Oh well.

An indian women with a strong accent called me and said:
Hello, my name is Maria, and I would like to... You know..
I didn't get it all but I am pretty sure thats she say something about Windows..
She talking really fast and said the same thing over again three times.. My sister came and told me to hang up.
So, I hang up. But she ceep calling. Then I'd googled the number and found this webside... Those who calling seems to be in very many countries. for example: Germany, Norway, England, Netherlands and Sweden.

they called and tagged team my poor mother in law into believing that she had a virus and in order to fix it she should go to Safeway and wire cash $199 to fix the problem. They need to be STOPPED!

I got a call twice today from this number. He had a London type accent and kept saying "hello", hello", and I kept on saying "hello" back.  He was acting like he could not hear me. Then he finally stated that "we just put some malicious files on your computer " and we (he) wanted to let me know.  I then told him "I didn't know what he was talking about", "I have virus protection". He then asked me," do I have a computer" and I said," yes". He wanted me to turn it on. So, I asked him well what files are they. The names. He then started doing the Hello, Hello bit again. Then I just hang up him.  I could not recognize or remember if he stated what company he was calling from I think I heard Google.  What a jerk.  I think he should get a life. I just wanted to let people know about this.  Because it can be scary and for the people that are not familiar with their computers and their OS. I wonder where he got my phone number from in the first place.

These guys constantly call and harass my mother, today it was me. I could hear their laughter in the background then they used an automotive voice to hang up on me. Pathetic. You are now blocked.

402-875-9195 incoming number -- claiming to be from Comcast and wanted to report virus on my computer. Tried to connect to my computer by remote connect site.  I refused -- she asked me to hang-up - I did not and wanted to know what she was going to do next -- she repeatedly asked my to hang up -- she asked me if I was Dumb and could I understand English -- after answering her questions and NOT hanging up... She said "F**K You" and she hung up.

Just got a call from "foreign sounding" person. Said he was from Windows help desk and that my computer has picked up something bad. Told me to press Windows key and letter r, simultaneously, which I  chose not to do.  I thanked him and hung up.  He called back and I did not answer.

I have received 2 calls now from these guys, the first time he was not happy I said no and got pissy and hung up on him, he called back and started swearing at me, called again tonight and said no and he called back again, trying to say how my microsoft computer was at a high risk... duhhhh scam, will block the number

Boy, this one was a pip! Received a call at 4:58 PM, 06-19-13, from a heavily accented woman who said her name was "Jack" and asked how I was doing. In the background was a man SCREAMING in Spanish, and a lot of static noise. I told her she sounded as if she was calling from a boiler-room, to tell the man in the background to shut up and that women in my country weren't named "Jack". She hung up immediately which was nice. This is the fifth call I've received from them, but the first I've answered.

Received call from 402-875-9195 from an India-native dialect gentleman named "Max". He claimed he was from Microsoft Windows' Service Center. I explained that I do not even own a Windows computer and that I only own Mac's. Then, of course, I laughed at the guy. I had him repeat the company name three times. Ha ha. I laughed again. He hung up on me.

Got the call and when you tell them they are a scam they get angry!  This guy had no idea what type of computer I even had! STOP THE MADDNESS! Arrest these guys!!!
