I received this call tonight. It sounded iffy to me since the number called is not part of my PayPal account. I logged in to PayPal and called the number listed, 866-528-3733. These people confirmed that the number that called me is not a valid PayPal number. However, researching through the Internet shows this number is valid. Since PayPal denied calling me it is possible the number was spoofed.

I see a lot of people saying this is a legitimate PayPal number. Idk but I have NEVER used PayPal. I would be extremely cautious.

Scammers don't care if you're on the DNC list. That's why a call blocker is a good investment.

I buy contacts lens but they didn’t send me they only took my money from my card

Pay Pal phone verification.  I could not get a code through a text message so I asked for a call.  Got the code in an an email, followed instructions and was able to complete a transaction.

Received three calls from this number which I didn't answer as I'm in the UK and don't know anybody in Nebraska. Voicemail messages were left saying please enter your PayPal verification code that was sent to you by text. ON NO ACCOUNT ENTER THE CODE. This is a scam call as somebody tried to change my PayPal password and I was sent a legitimate verification code by PayPal if you enter the code you will give the scammers access to your account, they will change the password and you will be locked out, they will then have access to card details or bank accounts you have linked to PayPal.

I just saw this:CHICVI 402-935-7733 CA on my paypal account. It took some looking, but it is for a coat I purchased from a company called BelleMeet. I have been waiting for about 3 weeks. I just received a tracking number on Friday and it is in transit. Hopefully, not a piece of jumk. I did not receive a call, just the paypal notice.

I had a message from this number saying it was Paypal. I did not call this number back, instead, I logged into my Paypal account and went to the online chat through the contact us page. Here is the transcript:
ME: hi I received a call from 402-935-7733 is this a legitimate phone number for paypal? if so, is there an issue with my account?
PP: What did the person talk to you about?
ME: They left a message asking for a phone pin number
PP: That is a fake call
ME: Would Paypal ever call me in regards to my account?
PP: Yes But never ask pin numbers etc.
ME: Also, is the phone number they called from the paypal number? 402-935-7733
PP: No

Received calls ar 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM on December 28. Then at 5:30 AM on December 29. If they legitimate don’t they realize people sleep?

This number posted and charged money from a PayPal account and got over $40 from my bank. I'm disputing it because I didn't authorize it. I ordered an item from an Ebay transaction and this showed up at the same time and date. Fishy. The number ISNT a PayPal and they dont ask for social security number if it's a VALID PAYPAL!!! This number belongs to a person with a scam!

Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers in hopes of convincing you their call is real. You might want to close the account they took the money from, along with the dispute you;ve already started.

This number is being used as a fraud line to assess information and act like a genuine PayPal account. This phone is attached with a fraudulent dispute over a charge that I didn't authorize. Money was taken out of my bank and claims it's for WestWatch and paid towards their PayPal account. I never received any reply or email or product from this person. The charge was on my  bank account at the same time pending when I purchased an item from Ebay at Beautycreations and the extra charge was pending at the same time of this authorized transaction. I notified my  bank and they're investigating it. I called this number and it asks for your last 4 of ss# for PayPal to get to a live agent. I  hung up. Also, PayPal NEVER asks for that information

It's not a LEGIT PayPal company account nor representative! Its FRAUD!

Incoming Pay Pal call, it's definitely pay pal customer service. Expect to be one hold for quite a while too!

Bull. That's not on Ebay at all, you're probably from the fraudulent company trying to con people. I checked with PayPal and this is NOT one of their contact numbers.

I have a PayPal account, I called them, they put me on a callback list. And I received a call with this caller ID, since it didn’t say PayPal, I didn’t pick it up.

As others have written, why in the world don’t they identify their number as a PayPal number?

Now I have to call back again and get on the waiting list.

I was to  receive a refund of $74.91 from Wall 26.  I had asked for an exchange because the item did not fit the area in my condo that I was going to use it for.  Wall 26 said I would receive the refund in 7 to 10 days but I have never received it.  Martha
