Received their phone call at 6:19 PM. Never left a message but hung up when my machine asked for one. Tired of these calls. Am on no call lists but keep getting calls from this one, 151-380-0157 name unknown, one from Lafayette, Ind. with a 765 area code, 513-800-1573 Cincinnati, Ohio, & one that is Private Name, Private number. How do we get these calls to stop????

Unwanted call from above number.  I am on the Do Not Call List.

I was called in regards to a recent visit to my branch.. So i guess these people do customer service surveys with different companies and they get your information from them. In my case was my bank, they had specific date and location of when I went to the bank and which branch.. I answered their yes or no questions so they stop calling for now.. But I will go to my bank and tell them to stop giving my info out to these companies

This number is for the Gallup Poll. At least that's what showed up on my Caller ID.

Try changing carriers or dont you have good enough credit to have anything but a track phone?

First, you sound like you are speaking from personal experience.

Second, I believe it is "TracFone", not "track phone", and "don't" not "dont".  

Third, credit ratings are typically a measure of how good one is at living outside their means and generating revenue for the credit pimps, but of little else.

Fourth, AFAIK, all of the major carriers offer pre-pay service.  In fact, in some cases it is a better deal than the billed cell phone accounts.

Perhaps in the future you will think twice before taking pointless cheap shots at others.  Of course, thinking twice, or even once, may be beyond your reach, so perhaps not.

Whaaaaa how do I get these calls to stop?  Cancel your phone.

The hang up when they get my message...

I also got a call from Gallup about a recent visit to my local branch. I was uncomfortable answering quesitons about my banking or even confirming that I have an account at a specific bank.

I immediately called my bank and asked if they had contracted with Gallup and they said yes. I suggested they warn their customers to expect such calls - no one but a fool would confirm their banking business with an anonymous caller. And as everyone should know, scammers are quite capable of making it look like a respectable firm like Gallup is calling. In fact, I asked the caller what the issue was because I thought it was a political survey. It was when he said he was calling about my in-person visit this week to my bank that I sort of freaked and got mad at the same time.

Maybe they did warn us in our monthly statements or via email but if they didn't then shame on them.  You can execute an "opt out" form with your bank over the phone and you shouldn't be bothered again.

They have called me twice once at 9pm while i was at work and left no message then just now. When I answered they were looking for my boyfriend?? We are even on the same phone plan or company..WTH??

Caller ID said 'KHH HHHH'.  Did not answer since it didn't say 'Lottery Award Center'.

Are you always such a jacka$$? It's a poll. Polls are used to make advancements in customer service, healthcare, etc.

And the poor person you're blowing your stupid horn at is just trying to do their job. I hope someday you're in a position that you're forced to take one of those jobs, and someone nails you with a blowhorn or a whistle to the ear.

Or better yet, the next time you do that (blowhorn or whistle), I hope that person, after you've done permanent damage to their hearing sues your stupid a$$ for every penny it's worth.
