Everything you all said and more! I found his ad on craigslist for downtown San Diego. If you read all of it, you can see how he refused and ignored important questions. He finally sent me the unit number, and being in the mortgage industry, I was able to check property titles and see that there was a legit building, but the unit number, as well as any property title with his name is non-existant. WHAT CAN WE DO?????

He continues to put postings on Craigslist for an apartment in downtown San Diego. There is an email address in the posting although you might already have it. He sent me a rental application this morning which I thought was odd since I haven't even seen a photo of the place. I Googled him and came across this blog. Hope you catch him!

I'm in the process of being in contact with local San Diego PD as well as the Fed's.  I currently working on getting subpoena's served on Yahoo for his account information. Again any additional you may have would be a great help.

Having been a "landlord", # 11 on his rental list is.... ILLEGAL! You can NOT ask about or discriminate when it comes to "religion".

OMG!  I can't beleive this guy!  as if I'm going to send him $600 through Western Union!  SOB!  My son is going to school in the city and looking for an affordable place has been torture enough, but to then waste sooo much time and energy on this guy...I'm pissed!  He gave me the same crap as he gave everyone else.  Thank god I didn't send any money!  What a wacko.

This guy is pulling the same scam in New York City and I have also kept all his emails.  He still doesn't know I'm on to him.  If you would like I would be happy to forward all his emails to you.  GOOD LUCK!

Hi! I also received the same email from him for that New Canaan apartment.  I tried to notify Craigslist as soon as I could to get him off of there but it took a little while.

Now this guy is now going by the name of Sara Carrot who is suppose to be is wife.    This is what she wrote to me in regard to the place for rent.

I got a call from this man saying he was calling because his wife could not hear but she sent me the details for sending the money. He wanted to know what time to expect it.  He had a thick accent , he sounds like a Nigerian.

He is pulling this scam in San Diego as well. I just received the same e-mail about his renting his property due to a company transfer to Adelphi, Maryland. His Craigslist ad lists the property well below market value.

He is very keen on getting a rental application completed as soon as possible. I am not sure who I can report him to...but I have flagged his ad on Craigslist.

I too responded to a message left on Craigslist.

I was wary, did some research and found him to be a fraud. I reported him to the FTC. Here is the info.
