I got the same call about the smoke alarms.  I reported the number to my phone company and police department and block all further calls from them on my phone.  I don't know if they can charge me for anything, but the phone company notated my account and assured me there should be no way they can do anything without my personal information.

This number has called several times, I never answer because I check the caller id.

This number has called me twice in about a weeks time, both times an Indian guy asks me if I have home security service and I told him both times that I'm not answering his questions and to take me off whatever list he has me on, even though I'm on the DNC list. The first time he just hung up and the second time he said something that sounded like " You're very bad", then hung up. Whatever, I'm not telling someone who comes up on my caller id as "Unknown" whether or not I have a security system.

This company has made repeated calls to my home phone # which is listed on the Do Not Call list.
They say their calling for a survey as to whether or not I have Smoke Detectors, fire extinguishers, etc.
They have been told on more than one occasion to remove my # from their list.  Last week I got 2 calls with a male, (Indian) accent and on Saturday one from a female caller also with an (Indian) accent.  She, at least was polie when told to remove my # from her list as opposed to the males who were rude and used abusive language.  I know this is a :Free Country" and everyone has a right to express their ideas, but this is harassment.

I called the number back.  The recording said if I did not wish to be contacted for future promptions and wanted to be put on their DO NOT CALL list, press 1.  I did and we'll see how long that lasts

just got a call, i just swiped do not answer and then googled the number.  added to my blacklist on my htc aria with CM7 2.3.4.  F you douches!  ha

Got a call from this number the other day. Couldn't understand the guy on the other end. Did not speak very good English so I hung up on him. Called today but I wasnt home, did not leave a message. I am also on the Do Not Call list. Obviously the Do not Call list doesnt work very well.

C'mon who can't distinguish a black person talking?  And as for "ghetto " term it is what it is, suck it up.

Same thing just happened to me. They had "hold" music, I said hello, they disconnected. The is most benign anoyance call I have ever gotten. Still, I wish they would stop it. I am glad others are reporting this. Maybe someone will do something about these calls one of these years.

I received a call just a minute ago from this number.  I answered with "Hello?" and there was only a beep on the line as if it was being taped.  No one responded and the call disconnected.

unsolicited call

I get this call everyday, at least 3 times a day. I am on the Do Not Call List!!!! This is soooooo Annoying!!!!!!!11

My service provided said this is a scam where they try to get your credit card number.  Whatever you do, don't fall for it and give it to them.  They have been reported and eventually the calls will stop.

I just got the dreaded call from the Indian guy.  He kept trying to talk to me about getting a GE alarm system.  When I told him he had a wrong number as the name he gave was bogus (Han Salad?  Come on, you've got to be pulling my leg) he said whatever and kept on making his pitch.

I told him I didn't own a home, that I lived in an apartment.  Methinks that'll guarantee he won't call again.
