Got a call on my cell phone from a guy with an Indian accent. Claimed to be an authorized GE dealer before I cut him off and told him to "get to Hell off my cell phone" and hung up. All of my numbers on on the "Do Not Call List". There is no recent dealings with GE (he probably wasn't with them anyway) which would allow them to violate the No Call Law.  My guess is that he wasn't even in this country.

I have done research on this number, it seems to be connected to a company called Level 3 Communications LLC. in MT. They sell services, one of those services is contact centers. They own a whole block of numbers including 406-948-8156. If this site will take links, here is the link to the company website: http://www.level3.com/

I called Level 3 Communications, they would give me no contact information. The gave me their company fraud hotline number to call 1-800-348-5457 but they will not help with individuals, said to call my local police and phone company. That is usally what the phone company requires you to call the police first and then the phone company. I am still receiving 4 or 5 calls from this company per day. I will start logging the date, time, and any other information. The company Level 3 Communications would not give me any directory information on who is using their services at the 406-948-8156 number. The only directory information I can get online is something called Avery Place in Glendive, MT.

The only contact center I have been able to find in Glendive Mt mentioned is Alpine Access. I wounder if that is where these calls are coming from?

Blocked calls about six months apart from this number.

Sangit just now called me on my cel. I asked him what time zone he was in. He said it was 4:15 just like mine. I think somebody missed his nap. Some GE crap about protects you...  unintelligable!!

I can not find any information but that the phone number belongs to Level 3 Commuincations. They are the one who owns the block of numbers including 406-948-8156. They either have a installation at Glendive, MT or are providing services to a call center there. I will keep looking for any connections between companies and will put it online when I find anything.

6/1/2011, 3:36 pm.  My wife's cell & mine were on the desk, next to each other.  My # is 1 less than her's.  Her phone rang 3X & then mine rang.  (From same #).  She didn't pick up, I did. When I picked up, her's stopped ringing.  No message or talk on mine for 10 sec., then auto disconnected.  Like everybody else, we are on DNC list.  What does it take to get rid of these A--Holes??

Two companies names keep coming up if you search GE Home Security. USA Alarm / Protect America. They seem to be two different companie but their web site mentions each other. Also the name GE Security System Glendive Montana is mentioned on their web sites. Seems kind of weard they way they are connected up like that. They are calling and supposedly offering a 3 year contract at a cost some say is much higher than everybody else. They have some complants about the systems failing. Also these seem to be a wireless self installation, that is it is a kit they ship to you and you set it up. I would almost bet these calls involve one or all of these compaines. I can not get any of their representitives to say what company they represent tho, I will not do business with anyone who will not tell me who they even are or represent.

Received a call from a male from India, said his name was John.  I said sure poonjab, what's up...he said well, you have been selected for something.... couldn't understand him so I said when you learn better english perhaps you could do a better job at swindling people.  Until then, adios a**hole.

Regarding  the telephone number:   +4069488156.  Recieved call on my call phone from this number and some young person say "hello" I think-then, I hung up.

Received two calls  from this number today, my cell said it came from Glendive, MT

He asked how old i was
I said why do you want to know my exact age
After that I was like i;'m in highschool
(My dad was next to me the whole time he told me to answer it because i never answer to numbers i dont know)
And yes the guy was arabian couldnt really understand him
after that he asked me what grade i was in
I was like who is this
And he was like yo momma
And i'm like what
And i started snapping, at him, and i was like i have your number idiot
and he hung up.
how unprofessional of that guy.

Just received a call from this number? How do I stop getting these calls?

This is why I continue to have an answering machine................If I need or want something I will not call these people.....................I will call or vist the company I want to make a purchase from.

Received a call asking If I had smoke protectors. I inquired why the were asking. The response was F    You, and they hung up. This is being reported.

Naturally, after their experience with me, I venture to say they won't be calling back anytime soon. It's amazing what one of those marina compressed air can, fog horns in the mouthpiece do to the recipient's ear at the other end.

Compressed air can fog horns... a mighty good invention for treating pesky telemarketers!

Works every time. Just make sure your work-colleagues aren't that close when you crack the can.
