This company does not rent anything out. I paid them 99 for each week and did not get anything or a refund of my money like they told they would do if they do not rent. Hmmm, fishy.... Be-ware of their rental program.

Timeshare Hotlist just callde me even though I am on the Do Not Call Registry.  Can't they get fined or be penalized somehow?  I am so tired of these phone calls.

I wonder what came out in your case?  I notice several months have passed by since you wrote your message, and now I am being approached by the same Represent. of  Century22.  Thanks for letting me know.

    The truth
They are all rip offs. No money should ever be given up front. None. The BBB and attorney general are no help. Keep your time share or find a reputable comapny(realistate comapny) to sell for you.

Mr. Perdomo, with all due respect, at least own up to your scam, placing billboards in key areas for your talemarketing goonies to view on their way to your offices to amp them up, boosting them with confidence about trade-show attendance  isn't really about selling timeshares -now is it??

I had really horrible experience with THL.  They lied about refund when I found out about the kinds of service they were giving me.  I called to cancel within 2 months and they took forever after 5 phone calls and 5 months they are still refusing to give me the refund even when I did not sign the contract though I gave credit card #.  Stupid me.  I am filling them with BBB for crookedness.

Unfortunately, this is a legitimate company that deals with selling or renting timeshares.  If you get this call, it is because you probably own a timeshare...unfortunately I do, and I get these types of calls all the time.  The only catch is, you have to pay them a fee to advertise your property, either on their website or brochure.  The fee is anywhere from $400 to $600, depending on the length of time you want to advertise your property.  Complaining to the BBB is not good either.  Any company, even one with horrific customer service or lots of complaints, can get a good rating with the BBB.  All they have to do is become a member and pay the fee - the more you pay, the better your rating.  Trust me, I used to work at BBB, and I saw all the shady dealings.

    TSHL GOT MOM!!
My mother bit their bait.  I work at an ad agency, here in Chicago, and researched this company (unfortunately, after they hooked Mom.)
    Here's what I uncovered:
    • TSHL places one add in a LOCAL Central Florida magazine: "Homes And Land'  while this publication is national, the distribution and ads change per market (meaning Timsharehotlist is only advertised in Orlando)
    • RADIO ???  Where and what markets????  --couldn't find anything
    • SEO ????--really ?? google 'VACATION RENTALS"  --how about "vacation condos for sale" --nadda, "Ski Vacation" or "Hawaiian timeshare for sale" --I could continue, there's not a point --SEO is a thing of the past anyway --but TSHL does not have it!
    • Billboards??  Why not in markets  where people live --BEFORE they're on vacation???
    • TRADESHOWS ?? --really come on now!!!  Women are the key vacation planners for families; while they're researching where their families are going to stay on their ski trips --Timesharehotlist is standing in a crappy tradeshow booth..
    • Don't get me started on their lack of social media presents --very weak.

Who the heck is doing your marketing, Timesharehotlist?  It seems to me that they're so focused on getting "licensed" instead of doing what they say they do: "marketing."

They should take the money they're scamming out of our mothers and retain an ad agency NOW!!  (Not my agency tho, we don't work with crooks.)  I bet right there in their own backyard there's an advertising/marketing consultant who would love to take this mess on.

With all the scandal going on in the Timeshare industry --they better hurry.

FYI: I took on mom's timeshare and it is now sold.

And how did you end up selling your mother's timeshare?
You neglected to mention that and I think a lot of people would like to know how you were able to do that, including me.

I am also curious as to how you got rid of your Mom's timeshare.
I have been contacted by this company and was considering using
them but am definitely having second thoughts.  I told them that I wanted
    to do more research.

    This is marketing 101

    1. I identified target market (who buys timeshares.) http://www.timesharelink.com/faq-timeshare-community.asp
I pictured a 49 year old mother and wants to get away

    2. Mom's timeshare was in Cancun. ... i researched what shopping was good there

    3. FACEBOOK advertised to this specific demographic in suburban Minneapolis and Chicago --it's cold as hell there and I advertised in January to : Married 49 year women with children who shop --I spend $200 and sold within a few weeks.

It depends on where your timeshare is and what is has to offer --but go after the Moms!

sorry there was a typo in my above comment --I spent about $200 on FB advertising.  (not I spend) --so yes, it's called 'marketing' which Timesharehotlist doesn't do --AT ALL!

There's a HUGE difference in marketing vs. selling --their product is "marketing" which they're selling.   Their only interest is in selling their services to our mothers.  The do ZERO marketing  of timeshares (yes, the service they sell).  Clearly, they have timeshare sale force pretending to run marketing campaigns -- marketing and selling, albeit related are two different roles.  I am not a sales person, I'm a marketing + advertising.

Received 2 phone calls this evening from a Derek Short of Time Share Hotlist.com, claiming that he needed 4 rental properties at Orange Lake Resort tonight to satisfy an upcoming convention group.  If I would register at a cost of $1200. plus tonight he could rent my timeshare for $1,800.-2,000. immediately.  The Payment of $1,200. plus was a one time fee and would guarantee the rental of my unit for the rest of my life.  How stupid does Derek think the average person is, or does he have a "hit man" so that he will not have to worry about renting my unit every year.
I can only hope that my post of this experience will help others not to be SCAMMED by inferior, feeble minded perverts.

They claim they need inventory for all their convention demand. Then they asked for $1300 to give them the inventory they supposedly need. Thats like Walmart telling all their suppliers they have to pay to be in their stores. It,s an ILLOGICAL HIGH PRESSURE SCAM!!!

Yes it is a scam. They just do a very good job dressing up their website with things that make them look legit. The website is only there for them to show it to you. I'm not sure if they have ever sold or rented anything.

This was posted by someone that works for the company. This is a scam scam scam scam scam!!! I was selling my timeshare with a real company, then these people called me and told me that the company I was using to sell my timeshare (the legit company) was a fraud. So me being the person I am, I was talked into contacting the original company I went with and canceling that sale. I then called Timeshare Hotlist back and went with them. Guess what happened? Yep, that's right, they scammed me, Timeshare Hotlist, stole my money!!!
