same thing happend to me.. got a call from this number.. pressed 1 to talk to an agent and they hung up on me.. im ready to bust some heads

2 calls today from these ppl claiming to reduce my interest rate... called the number back and pressed 1 to talk to an agent.. they hung up on me!! not sure how they got my number but it really makes me angry

they haven't left a message, and the one time that I was home, it rang only twice then quit before I could answer it.  I am on the do not call list, and have had repeated calls from this number, and do not like it at all

I think I might be able to assist you in stopping these unwanted calls.  I have a cable company for
my Internet and phone service. (Comcast)  If I get on my computer and go to Preferences, there is a placefor me to check for both Preferences using my Internet and Preferences for using my telephone.
There is a place to list 12 unwanted phone numbers.  Also, to reject any unknown callers.
I listed all the phone numbers that have been calling me.  Also, I checked off:  Reject unknown
callers.  Now, at least 12 telephone numbers.   Also, you can call your telephone service and ask
how you can stop these phone calls from calling you.  Most will have a two number and a # or *
and then you put in the telephone number you do not want to call your home.  Same thing with a cell.
So, call your telephone service company or your cable company or go to Preferences on your tool bar on your computer.  I hope I have been of some help.

however, I immediately contact the Sheriff's Department, Senior Abuse Office, and give them the phone number. They follow up, whereas reporting to National Do Not Call site does nothing.

Got calls from this phone number.  Several a week.  Each time we ask to be removed from their call list, they hang up.  Filed a complaint with FTC.  Maybe if we all called the FTC with complaints from this number it might do some good?  FTC Phone # is 1-877-382-4357.  Phone call with them took less than 5 minutes.

I attempted to call this number back, and it was "answered" as "this number is not in service".  Interesting, since I just got the phone call!

"Account Services."  I pressed 1 and acted interested.  The caller, "Brian" asked whether I had at least $4000 outstanding in credit card debt.  I said yes.  Asked for a number to verify the card.  "Uh, who are you?"

"We're Account Services. We work with over 500 major banks."

"Where are you?  Where is your place of business?  Where are you incorporated?"

Folks, if you answer the phone and press a # to talk to them then, according to the law, YOU are making the request and the "do not call" doesn't apply. Use your call ID and don't answer the automated calls.

I have started getting calls from this number today and I tried ignoring it a few times and they kept calling.  I finally answered it and there was no one there.  This is very enoying!!!

Same as above. Robo-call saying "lower your interest rate."  Do not identify themselves.

Just got a call from these guys.  They are essentially scammers who are out to get credit card numbers from unsuspecting people and run up a bill on them.  These numbers are spoofed.  Anyway, when they called me their number was already blocked since I block all unknown numbers on this line.  Here are some other spoofed numbers from the same people (they've called before from other numbers):

They don't call every day but when they do, they call several times in one day from different spoofed numbers.  There's no real way to get around being called by them except to block all calls unless they are known numbers.  Oh well.  Life goes on.

Yet another call from "Rachael at cardholders services."  Do these scams actually work for the companies placing these calls?

Received a call from this number today with a recording "this is rachel from card holder services or something like that."  I have received numerous calls with the same recording but from different phone numbers.  I have reported these calls numerous times but it seems to do absolutely no good!  If anyone knows how to get them to stop, I sure would like to know!

Yeah, from that # and the other day from 407-480-9999 and prior to that, over the past months, other numbers.  My caller ID indicates they are from cell phones.  I get the Time Warner CC electronic greeting and have pressed #3 to get my # off their effing list a gazillion times.  I've spoken with reps to tell them I'm the do not call list, I've cursed and screamed (I have a foul, filthy mouth) - they keep calling.  I've just blocked the last two #s and will continue to do so.  And I've filed a complain on the Do Not Call website.  If you google TWCC, you find nada.  They don't say anything about debt but offer lower interest rates.  Phuck them - skanks.

Have been getting calls from this number. First call was listed as a Maine call then a second call was listed as a Florida call. Normally I won't answer the phone when I see a number or listing I don't recognize but this is getting on my nerves. I am listed on the no-call list feserally and in my state! This type of harrassment needs to stop!

wish I had read your post sooner - answered my phone after 2 rings without checking caller id.  I was walking in the door and expecting a phone call.  Darn now they know this number has a real person.

BTW they previously called exactly one month ago today and I did not answer at that time.

I generally do not answer unknown callers - they caught me off guard today.  Hate that!!
