- Found 800 Number| 1 replyThey say they are Card Services. I tricked them into thinking I was interested and wanted to call them back if I found their rates better. They fell for it and gave me 1-800-622-7747. haha! Now adding to donotcall.gov and reporting their caller ID masking. Then I asked to be added to do not call and they hung up.

- P FryI received a call from this number, who do I report it to?
- JanetI received a call - no message - from 4074349999. I am also on the FTC's Do Not Call List, and this company will receive heavy fines. But before they can be fined, we all need to report them to the FTC.

- Charm| 1 replyI got a call from this number and I hit 1 to speak to someone to ask to be taken off the list. I immediately asked what the name of the company was and the woman told me "account services" and I asked for their address. She then said "what does that have to do with receiving a lower rate on your credit card?" and I said "you are calling my home wanting personal information from me and you won't give me your address? because I am on the do not call list and I have asked you to take me off several times in the past and you continue to call back." and she said "Ma'am, again, what does that have to do with getting a lower rate on your credit card?" and I said "You know, you people should get a life. You are a stupid cow. What kind of a person works for a place like that and then you call MY home and have the nerve to get rude with me? You are supposed to be selling me something?" and she said "Whoa, who are you calling a stupid cow? I simply want to know what any of that has to do with receiving a lower rate on your credit card?" so I said "What it has to do is that you need to stop calling me" and she said "I can call you again in a few days and then again and again if I like. How about that?" and I said "Let me speak to a supervisor." So she actually did put me on hold and someone else got on who said they were a supervisor and I said, "Hey, you know, I get that people need jobs right now, I do, but to call someone's house every week or more -- someone who has asked you not to call repeatedly and is on the do not call list -- and try to sell them something is not effective marketing. Your girl was rude to me so I called her a stupid cow. I did. I admit it. But she kept repeating the same thing over and over to me. I would like to know your address." The supervisor answered "That information is for members only" and I laughed and I said "Look, how can you expect someone to give you a credit card or account information when you won't even give out your company address? That makes me think you all are a scam or something. Do you not realize that?" And she said "I understand." and I said "I really think you need to take me off of your list once and for all. I don't want to be called by you any longer. And I think you should speak to your girl" and she said she would play back the tape and see if she needed to and would take me off the list, to which I ended the call nicely. This company, after reading all of this here, is not legitimate because a legitimate company would not act like this, nor would they be afraid to give their address. I sometimes wish I were a politician because I would introduce a bill to be voted into law that states that if a company violates the do not call listing, they will first get a fine, then an investigation into their practice. Something really has to be done about these organizations. And the sad thing is, the people that work there are just trying to earn a living. But honestly, if you are going to work for an organization like this, go all the way and just sell drugs or something because it isn't much different in my book with regard to being honorable. Cheating people out of their money so that you can make a paycheck each week is not honorable. If you work for a call center like this, I encourage you to quit -- go on food stamps or something. I am not employed either, so I understand, but I would never work for a place like this. My two cents :o)

- IrokI just answered a call from these guys (after two times asking them to remove me from thier calling list) and I ended up over talking the guy who answered and that caused him to blow up and call me a F****ing dirty C**t, and he proceeded to tell me I was a dumb w***e, and a Stupid C**t. These guys have to stop. The people working there are such losers! Like really go get a life and a real job. He did inform me that no government agency can touch them (Arrogant) and that I can report them all I wish, which I have. Ha. I am going to go block this number. Hope everyone has a nice day.

I got this from
http://www.consumeraction.gov/corporm.shtml - Lin in SeattleScam. I received two calls that were 'air' when I answered them. Today they had a recording from "Rachel with card services" telling me there is nothing wrong with my accounts, not identifying an account but wanting me to push a phone button for additonal important information. It appears to be an attempt to 'reel' new customers in for some unknown service.
