I was able to call chase back and set up a lower interest and lower pymt. and pick the date.  Then they stopped calling.

These people have called my cell phone for 2 months everyday totaling 113 calls made to my cell phone. Not one voice mail has ever been left. Where do I draw the line @ harrassment?

I tried something tonight and it worked! When they called for the 17th time, I returned the call. When they answered, they asked for my account number so I gave them my number that they keep calling. They asked who I was so I gave them my name. I then said, this phone call is being recorded. This is your notice to stop calling the number I just gave you. Consider this your cease and desist. Any further calls to this number will be recorded and turned over to the Attorney Generals office. They said- you can NOT record this phone call. You do not have our authorization to record it. I said, Why not? The very first thing I hear when I call this number is "This call is being recorded for quality purposes" so if you can record it... so can I.. I then said, keep in mind, any further calls to the previous mentioned number will be recorded and those phone calls will be your authorization to record such calls and use these recordings in the court of law as evidence that you are harrassing me. Any communication must be sent in writing to the address on file.

NO FURTHER CALLS YET TODAY!

I work for a private company and get several calls daily from this number and get a busy signal, no one on the other side of call.  I wish they would stop calling this line.

I, too, have had Chase call me up to 10 times a day using different phone numbers.  I have gone through a debt management company to try & get my interest rates lowered so I can pay off my debts, and Chase had accepted the debt management proposal.  However, they are harrassing me; they must not be happy with the fact I'm do this and they are trying to get EXTRA money out of me.  I thought once I went through the debt management company these phone calls would stop.  HAH!

I constantly get calls from this number. They never leave a message, and after reading the previous posts stating the calls are from Chase, I don't even have any accounts with them???

I have been getting these calls from Chase several times a day, for weeks.  They start up shortly after 8:00 am and don't wind down until about 10 minutes before 9:00 pm.  They never leave a message, and there's never anyone there if you try and answer.  WHat legitimate purpose can these calls serve if there's never anyone there when you answer?  It's harrassment, pure and simple.

I've now purchased a "call blocking capable" phone from Panasonic.  It's WONDERFUL!  It has a call block list, you just save the caller ID info from an incoming harrassement call to the call block list and that's it.  From that moment on, they get a hangup automatically once the caller ID info is received.  You hear one ring, then they are gone.

I called and asked them to lower my rate.  The guy said they couldn't unless I showed 6 months no late payments.  This was the first month I was late and he wanted to suggest credit counciling.  I have no income and no unemployment.  I'm not over spending, I just have nothing coming in.  So now my one late month has snowballed and I really can't do anything about it except keep hitting the street hard for a job.  If my minimum payment was lower that would help out but they won't budge.  This pisses me off.

Have no clue why these folks are calling me but I get no less than 10 calls per day... I have never used their company and now it's a sure bet that I never will!! Headed to find out what legal action I can take against this number continually annoying me.

They have the worst customer service ever! They refuse to put me on a payment plan and told me to go to a Consumer Credit Counseling Service instead...that they couldn't help me! WTH? I think I will just go file bankruptcy instead....

I faxed them the same letter...and they took two days off and are calling me again! I guess I need to take legal action?

Ithink it is chase letting me know my checking account is below my desired limit. A service I just signed up for.

I'd like to know how they got my cell phone number!

I HATE these calls!

Just got a call this morning from them, no message.  I just added them to my blacklist on my phone, problem solved.  I'm on a payment plan (aren't we all) to eliminate debt, my account is closed but they automatically take $ from my account every month towards to balance.  If they ever left a message, I'd call them back, until then, blacklist straight to voicemail.

I am getting calls from this number non-stop! Every day including weekends, day or night! It is out of control and someone needs to put a stop to it!

Yes ; most people today are late with their bills, but why do we have to be terrorized by these money hungry grudgers who call from unavailable, unknown name, unlisted,state only phone numbers, why cant they just state who they represent. It is sickening and stressful.
