- CindyB replies to FeliciaThey have left me over 50 calls from 7 different numbers in a week a few times -NEVER a message. I had 5 of their numbers blocked from Verizon. So now they are calling from a different area code. I'm gonna keep switching up which numbers I block.......
I will NEVER use Chase for anything and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. They are unwilling to help when you are in financial straits, cancelled my card without any notification and obviously, are harrassing. - DeniseI am getting daily calls from this number and when I do pick up, the person hangs up on my....the calls are coming to my cell phone.
Please advise as to how I can stop or block this number.
Thanks, - BOYCOTT CHASE BANK CREDIT CARDSBoycott Chase credit cards.

- UnknownSomebody had been calling from this number several times a day this week and its not leaving a message. When I called to let them know to stop calling and wants me to enter my account #. I don't even have an account on this company.
- soniaI've never had chase... no idea why they're calling me but it's always during work hours when I can't get to it!
- Annoyed in FloridaIt is supposedly illegal for these people to call after 8 p.m. but in addition to many calls from them on my cell phone at various times, I received one on a Sunday at 8:45 p.m.! I agree with most of you. Many of us have had hard times. I contacted Chase to request a reduced interest rate and to let them know that I had been laid off and would they work with me. They would not even consider it so I had no choice. The banks all got a bail out but when we need help, they won't even consider it. If they get stuck with zillions of dollars in unpaid credit card payments, it's hard to feel bad for them.
Maybe they could stop building new offices on every corner. I only wish that people would wise up and stop using them for anything. - XPJSBABIE replies to sanset the number up as a contact... then set it to go directly to voice mail ;)
- jslock replies to MichelleThat is not a very well written letter, don't copy it. There are good elements in the letter, but exclaimation points are not necessary n a business communication. Also, they know how much the fines are and what the fdcpa laws state. They know this because they do it every day, it is their job. It just sounds ridiculous. Adding that line didn't make anyone at chase go "oh [***], we better not call this person again, I forgot there was a fine". The letter borders on sounding threatening, instead of informative, which is all you need. Or, and here is a crazy idea, pay your bills. Can't pay it in full? Get set up on small installments. If you talk to them, you can set up a time and date when the next call will be, instead of every day.
- RFBusby replies to JJRemember that any debt forgiven is credited as taxable income at the end of the year. The bank that does the write-down will send you a IRS 1099 and you'll be required to pay taxes on every cent they write-off. Of course, they don't mention your tax liability when they make the offer.
Also be aware that a charge-off on your credit record remains just as long as a bankruptcy. - BrianThese [***] call me everyday when I'm at school and it's PISSING ME OFF.
- cjI think it's a scam. Watch out
- PamThis number calls me at all times of the day and night!!!
- Lysa replies to FeliciaIf you have the opportunity LEAVE Chase! Yes I am late with a payment, but not 30 days late. I was with chase sense it was called Bank One, when I found out they would deliberately rearrange my checking account transactions to cause automatic withdraws to bounce ( account insufficient ).
This would happen once every other month, causing Chase to elective $10-$20 per transaction.
I never filed Bankruptcy, but as of January 2015, they are the first to receive the boot!! - KaylaThey called me twice today - did not leave a message - so I called my bank & they told me that number was a fraud!!!! Do not give they NO information - not even your account number !!!!!
- Call type: Debt collector
- RandyinLAThis number is from CHASE Bank! It is completely ridiculous that they call me about 8 to 9 times a day. I am late on my payments. I called them to let them know that I had a setback and would be making the payments as soon as I can. I explained everything to them in detail. Even after I talked to them they asked if I could make the payment by the next day... I told them NO... It would probably be 2 weeks before payment could be made. They told me that I had to pay before then... I told them I could not and that it would be 2 weeks. She ended our phone call telling me she would call me back tomorrow to follow up on our conversation that we just had. I told her that nothing would change by tomorrow and a call tomorrow would be useless.
They called the next day 9 times... It is completely stupid to do business like this.- Caller: CHASE
- Call type: Debt collector
- Roger replies to FeliciaIt is illegal for collections to call cell phones......tell them and they will stop
- bank hater replies to FeliciaI do not answer ANY calls that I cannot identify. I check call register and google them at the end of the day. I call the people/companies with whom I wish to speak. If one starts driving me nuts, I block the number and voicemail. I still know that they called, for I can check the register. I have the option to listen or not to listen to messages that I block. We have tons of medical bills and would go nuts before noon if I didn't do this. oh...chase...yes, they call here. yes, we were a little late this month. Paid today on-line. Still getting/ignoring calls tonight. Don't let your phone rule you. People can call, but you don't have to answer!
- EllaI don't owe any money at all, and they continue to call me. Do I want a credit card? NO! Do I want to take a survey?NO! BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK

- ticked replies to JHKThey forgive thousands every day in mortgages from people who can pay but just walk away then harass people who are dying and owe them for a credit card. They are truly a Washington figure with Washington views. I'd never do business with them again.
- ticked replies to MichelleThey get so mad when you say you're taping them.
