Cleaning out my VoiceMail archive, found many many many listings of this number.  No voicemails were left, just the number and “San Jose” were listed, now deleted.  This goes back to last year.

Caller ID says SPAM POTENTIAL phone call from this number, and the caller did not leave any message.

Actually, I got a call like this just this morning. Then realized, yes, it's an ok call because I was using AOL & they sent a verification call with code to my phone instead of texting it. Not sure why you may have gotten this; but it's not a scam or anything.

called me at around midnight, but i don't answer calls anyways so i ignored. within a few seconds i got an AOL verification? but i have not idea what that is- so im kinda like,, confused haha !

I get calls from them on my cell phone and have no idea who it is.

These people are calling me all the time. How do I get rid of them??

Exactly the same. Multiple texts in a row and calls with voicemail.  Most annoying thing yet

Said there was suspicious activity with my aol mail and I couldn’t log in to my e mail from my phone unless I verified my number . Once I did I got a phone call 408-610-4900 with a six digit code to log back in to my e mail. I did and it worked but now I’m questioning whether it was legit. But it was the only way to log into my aol e mail in my phone . Was it a scam ?

Contact AOL directly at a known phone number and ask them.

The call might be legit from the caller's standpoint, but I did not request a confirmation number nor set up any new accounts and therefore it is not legit on my part. Call came through at 6:30 AM which is a nuisance.

8am to 9pm your time-meaning the call was most likely illegal too

Recorded message saying they are from AOL and have a security code they need me to enter.  I dont think so.

Heard my cell text sound and saw a voice mail was left. Odd text alert and a voice mail appears?  Nor did I hear my phone ring. Listen to the voicemail and heard a robotic voice give a six digit code and then "Goodbye from AOL."
Reading posts, I see some say it's legit, others say beware, scam/spam. From Yahoo, to GOOGLE, to AOL and Health insurance. I did have to reset an account. That was 5 days ago. I was already using my email, check but  did not see any alerts/notifications not even in my spam folder.
I would have to go with Scam/Spam posts.

Set up a new Yahoo email account about a week ago. Got a legit confirmation text to my cell phone to verify
account. Today got a call at noon from this number, problem is, it came to my home phone number, which
I never provided when I set up my Yahoo account. So... scam???

Yes.  More than likely you just happened to get a random scam call which had nothing to do with you signing up on Yahoo. Scammers send out thousands at a time and perhaps your number just happened to be in that days sequence list.

Didn't answer called back said it was yahoo so I called up the yahoo call center and they said I have no account with them under my name or email (which was previously hacked) just some scum who hijacked this number probably
