It is the Career Institute, a call center company in Maryland, calling about on-line queries from people who are looking for on-line collage classes. At some point you must have asked for additional information or you were replying to an on-line survey scam, such as “get a $100 Visa gift card on us”.

They called me twice in one day only 90 min. apart.  I do not answer numbers I do not know.  I found this website and noticed that many people said it was in connection with online college courses and I know for sure that I have not signed up for any at all.  I called back thinking that I would get a busy signal, but "Angela" answered and I asked her to remove my number from the list.  She said she did...we'll see.

I answered told them "he" is not at home, and I don't think he needs another degree, he has a PhD so the guy said: OK, thanks and that was it.

the number keeps calling my house

If you would call the number back, they will tell you that you have signed up online for information for an online college class. I simply gave them my number and told them, please remove me from your list. Its that easy. No more bothering calls.

410-774-8401... just got 2 calls from this number in less than 20 minutes. I let the answering machine get it... but before the answering machine picks up, they hang up. I did fill out a survey online, but I ALWAYS give my cell number on those, NEVER my home number. I've only had this home number for about a month!

disturbing calls all night long

Keeps calling, calling, calling.....
Tried to return call - busy, busy, busy....

I just want it to go away please...

this number along with another on (315 207 4761) called me so i called them both back. the 315 number i found out is a hoax or something so if it calls u don't answer cuz supposedly it charges u out the wazoo. bt when i called this number a girl answered asking me about college. i had filled out a college thing online so i thot that's who it was. she told me to go to this website and look up all this crap. i was like ok so i did bt the website she took me to didn't hav what i was lookin for and i was thinkin what is this anyways? then she asked if i was interested in any other courses n i said no. and she said "well, amanda, i wish u the best of luck!" i thot it was kinda weird she didn't offer additional info or anything. when i had probs with the other number i decided to just look up this number too n this is what i found. i rly shouldn't hav gave her that info!! good thing i don't hav  a credit card. im sure ppl can find ways to get a hold of that info too.

Repeated phone calls - even though I answered once and explained I had not expressed interest via the web of taking college courses on line.

A man said I requested information about taking online classes in which i didnt and i told him i didnt know anything about signing up for online classes and then he hung up on me.

Did complete a survey too. But I did not ask to be on a calling list and did not apply for college info. It is a scam and I am also tired of them calling.

Wanted to sell a school Carrair institut. HAHAHAH I told them that I wanted to talk to the human resource department. He said, " I'm sorry but they have transfered you wrong." Then he hung up on me.

ok i just got my number changed yesterday and already this 410 774 8401 number has called me 5 times and i haven even gave anyone my new number yet so how can i stop this so anyone know please tell me and i got 2 other numbers calling me as well how does that happen

I dont know how you people got my number but I don't apprecitate being woke up on my day off and then no one even answers when I pick up!

Received a "missed call" this morning from the number above. Called it back-said it was transferring me to an after hours vox. It may be due to a survey I completed online.

Caller ID pegged them as CI.  Asked for my wife by name and she was not here.  Didn't seem to really bother the fellow.  He said thanks and okay.  Accent from the fellow made me think he was from Michigan.

Caller stated I filled out application to take online college courses.  I stated I certainly did not.  He then asked if I wanted to take college courses.  I said no.  He acted insulted and hung up.

Keeps calling. I ignore it. No message left.

Caller doesn't leave message. Must be solicitor. I'm on a do not call registry so this is soooo wrong!
