citi commerce 423-477-6983 has been nonstop calling several times a day from 7am-10pm for weeks. (this has been going on for almost a year off/on) only a recording not an actual person when answering. yes, they are the account holders for home depot but my bill is not due until the 7th.. so why 3 weeks before the due date +10 times a day telling me i'm late & to pay over phone when obviously i'm not late nor will i pay over phone. even when i do not owe anything they still call saying i'm late. i can never talk to anyone, always just a recording. it's highly annoying when you have to take the phone off the hook just so the baby can take a nap. it's so annoying when everytime the phone rings.. it's citi commerce again.. talk about stalking much?? if i was late on a bill that would be one thing, but never been late. just because i have a home depot account you're going to harrass me?? makes me not want to shop at home depot ever again. i'll just stick with lowes or go to the lumber mills for now on. i've tried blocking the number but was told phone company said they can't block business lines from calling my number. great. really tired of hiting phone on/phone off when that number pops but since if i let answering machine pick up it leaves that awful beeeeeeeeeep noise for 5 seconds. ugh.

Noted same BS number. That's ok. They on the run... they're in my cross hair. Keep it up!

First off Guardian - you are defending a practice that most companies do not follow - maybe you do, and you would be a rare example that the rest of the collection industry needs to follow.  I can guaranty you that CitiCard leaving a message does not stop further same-day contact, because I have received a voice message and a phone call in the same day for the same account.

Q:  How can you tell a CitiCard collection agent is lying?
A:  They're lips are moving.

You may not have a home depot card, but someone somewhere has used your number; or has a similar name as you, and so you have been elected by CitiCard to receive the phone calls.

I am fairly certain this is legit from Home Depot.  They stopped allowing ebill to my billpay so I just set up an auto payment for my usual min payment.  I didn't realize when I made a large purchase a year ago, that it was on one year same as cash, the interest came due and sent my min payment much higher.  Thus, the payment I made last month wasn't enough, making me overdue.  I happened to check the account the same day these calls starting rolling in, that's how I discovered it.

I did open a Home Depot card about 1 month ago..
I purchased an item, approx $450...
I am still waiting for the bill...Maybe lost in transition/translation ??!!

Or In mongolian -  Hullo ... with strong emphasis on the oooo... Speak Mongolian,, you say to the other line
Then they pause.. or ... English
Just say  Muchi Mushi   or Hullo

Drives them crazy ! Esp. if you are clean and have nothing to worry about !

Is this a separate collection agency or is it home depot collections?

Definately a scam. I own no credit cards, no loans to anyone and am not behind on any utility companies. I keep getting in my spam box a message every hour for weeks, (in orther words, computer generated) saying I have missed a 2 sec. call from 423 4776983 on Magic Jack number. Huh?  that's nice. Obviously, its not for me, just a scam trying to get info out of me. Do not call these scammers back.  I've already notified Magic Jack that someone is using their name and numbers to scam their customers.

They are an unscrupulous division of Citibank, working for Home Depot et al.  They double bill you and then call you at ALL hours. Home Depot, by the way, charges 30% per year on their card. Think twice before you buy anything there.

They are handling my Home Depot account, which I closed. They charge 30% per year. YES 30% PER YEAR. They are also double billing and marking me late when I wasn't.   YES CITICOMMERCE IS OWNED BY CITIBANK, one of the largest receiver of TARP money. Makes you feel good, doesn't it.

They better stop calling I filed last month and they should know, giving my lawyer there name and number let him take care of them. I'm a senior thy are very rude once you filed they can be sued if they call and I'm sick of them

I got a call from them a few days ago, and figured I forgot a payment. I went to Home Depot and made a cash payment. The calls kept coming so I called the number on my HD card; I was told my last payment was received, and I was not overdue, and had not been over due. I got another call today. This company must have it head up its um phone. In any event my total balance is now about 70 dollars, and not over due.

I have been paying my Home Depot bill on time.  Last month I got it paid off to less than 1/2 my limit.  So, they cut my limit to just above what I owe.  Go ahead, call me all day long.  You don't care about me why should I care about you?

If you are as sick of Citibank and other "banksters" as I am, go here, sign a petition and send it to the White House, demanding that Elizabeth Warren be appointed to head the new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection:

I've been getting several calls per day everyday.  I did not answer because I didn't know the number nor did they leave a message.  I got on here saw everyones posts and decided to call the number.  The number went to an automated system asking for my acct. # and since I don't have a HD acct. I pressed 0.  She answered the phone as a HD rep. and asked me for my acct. #.  I told her I don't have an acct. but keep getting calls.  I gave her my # since they have it anyway and my 1st name only.  She said they don't match so she kept me on the line and removed my # while I was on the line with her.  We will see what happens.  I think people are giving fake info when they are getting their cards and we happen to be the lucky ones who get the phone calls when they are late or not paying their bills.  Good luck everyone.

If you don't own a Home Depot credit card or line of credit, answering them would be pointless!!
