this is so annoying  they called my home 3 times in one day and five times in the next. to call back you need acct number vut i have no dealings with this company  stop annoying us people

STOP CALLING US.   It's January 16th, 9:30AM.  This phone number has called us 14 times since January 14th --- and that's just what we kept on our phone, without the calls we deleted.  When we answer, it's a recorded message.  When we let it go, it reports a voice mail but then the message is empty.  This is  harassment.

Citi Commerce is make a complete customer aressement.
I will sue Citi and Home Depot.

They always call me on a Sunday.

Not sure if this helps anyone to know this, but I was receiving constant calls from this number as well but never answered as I know all my payments are made on time.  What I did, though, after reading this thread of emails below is I called the toll free number on the back of my Home Depot card and asked them why Citibank, from this number, was calling me.  It turned out that they had my number associated with someone else's account and they were trying to reach the other person.  I've gotten several other collection calls for this person for the only reason that they used to have our phone number.  So Home Depot erased my number from his account.  So long story short, if you are getting calls from this number, if you do not have a Home Depot account, it may be possible you are getting the calls as they are trying to reach someone else via your phone number and the only way to make it stop, in this case, is to call the number back and let them know if that is the case and they will then remove your number from their call list.  If you do have a Home Depot account and your account is current with no past due amount owed - do what I did and just call Home Depot.  Home Depot put me on hold, called the Citibank number while I was waiting, and took care of the problem for me by having Citibank erase my number from that account.

Home Depot has a problem with this extreme desire to "Go Green".  I've had to tell them countless times that sending me a bill via e-mail does not work for me.  I get a few in the mail and then suddenly - no bill and they start calling me.  Low and behold - my payment is late.  Why?  Because they went back to e-mailing me my bill.  Guess when I get paid I'm going to have to go in to the store AGAIN and tell them that when I don't get the paper copy of the statement/bill mailed to me, they don't get paid.  I delete e-mails that are not of a personal nature.

everyone complaining about the collections department in Citicards calling them in regards to their Home Depot Card...ya'll are [***]. it is legit. pay your bills and get over it.

This number:  423-477-6983 has been calling me day and night and althoug i can hear well, I can't identify who is calling.  I can only hear my name.  I don'thave debts.  I have sent all my payments.

After I looked this number up (called me 2 times today), I called up Home Depot and they did confirm that I was 21 days overdue on a balance.  I also confirmed that the 423-477-6983 is their automated calling number from their credit card department.  It is not a outside collection agency.

The number is from Citi Financial. You might have a credit card under Citi and not know it--check your lines of credit. I had received a call re: my Home Depot card which is funded by Citi. I had missed a payment and would've incurred additional fees if I had not explored this further. Usually, they will leave a voicemail.

It is NOT home depot calling, it is some sort of scam company.  If it was legitimate you would also receive a letter in the mail.

We have received over 12 calls from this number in the last three days.  No message on the answering service, and no one answers when answering the call live.  I have reported to Home Depot to demand that it stop.  Calling the number only provides access with account information which is crazy.  Better Business Bureau will also be informed.

Theses nut heads are HOME DEPOT trying to collect money from you for not paying your bill.......

I too have been receiving these calls 4-5 times a day. I finally blocked this number.  Will see if another phone number pops up.

I had fradulant charges on my card. I was told it would be invesigated. Was told they did find fradulant charges. Identity theft and would close the account. They opened a new card without my permission and added the fradulant charges, interest, and late fees to new card. They call me about every 30 mins all day. They call while I am at work and are jeopardizing my job. These are not my charges! I cant speak to an operator from this number. Only payment options. I called 800 # and get run around. Wont remove fraud charges, interest or late fees. Offered me a deal to pay $59 and all would be resolved. I went to Home Depot called Citi from store and was told no I owed the total amount. I did not make any payments. I am being harrassed. They call every 30 mins from 5am-11pm.

These people have called me in the past. Since its a collection agency, and I owe no money to HD, I filed a complaint with the state's AG office. Problem solved! Also, if you are on the Do Not Call list, report them there as well. They'll have to pay a fine for harassing you.

"Joesph Mengele", the "weisse angel" of Marathon Man fame? For thoswe who don't know, he was the infamous Nazi doctor who performed hideous experiments on concentration camp prisoners. Whoever this Mengele really is, he's chosen this name to tweak our collective consciences. He most likely works for a scam outfit and it's fitting he'd take the name of a monster

How can I report this nuisance caller!  I have blocked the number, still I have to remove all the listed attempts.
