This is from some business called Santander, or Drive Time, depending on which individual calls you. if you ask them to remove you, they simply get someone with a different name and area code to take over. I have reported these smucks to the ftc at least 9 times under 8 different phone numbers and business names. The FTC gives them a cease and desist and then they get a different company name to call you. Many times I answer the phone and they simply hang up, If my machine answers, they call out..."hello. hello...pick up, pick up. Never leave a message or call back number .these people use the most illegal collection tactics ever. And btw...I have no idea who the person is they calling for...AND I HAVE TOLD THEM SO!

I would like to hear more about your class action suit. I lost my job and we started making payments a little late, but they were always made. I have had it up to my eyes with them calling 7-10 times per day with no one being on the other end. they even called right after I made arrangements and made a payment. Not only that, both my spouse and I are co-applicants on the loan. When they are on the other end when I answer they refuse to speak with me because his name is listed first. They say it is a "personal" matter...and they go back to calling.

These people suck I was out of work for little over two years and was able to make the payments with unemployment money but the unemployment was cut off and I fell behide on the payments when I found a job I was still unable to afford the payments as i dont make as much now as i did before begin layed off So i told the to come and pick up the car two months ago but here it still sits in my driveway I have more than paid for the 2008 KIA Sorento payments at 561.91 per month for 24 months i was able to pay. I even had one lady from that company tell me I should have thought about that before I bought the car and she was rude. The last person who called me said "Well you will have to pay the amount left after acution" BS they can kiss my [***]

send them a certified letter stating your intentions regarding the car and that u want them to repo it....save that receipt you get back when the letter is delivered   tell them they have so many days to come get it and also put in the letter that if they dont pick up the vehicle by a certain date then they give up there interest in the vehicle and its paid off and yours....trust me they will come get it

I'm trying something new.  I have a list of pest callers by the phone.  Whenever one calls, I take the phone off the hook and let them talk to the table top.  Gets me a few minutes peace and adds a few cents to their cost of operation.  (Wastes their time and ties up a phone line for a minute)

If everybody did it, maybe the pests would get the message.  Also should work for political calls, surveys, "charities" and others who are exempt from the do-not-call lists.

Santander will constantly call you regardless of the standing of your loan. They started calling me several times a day weeks before my first payment was due.

i dont have an account with this company. I have never had an account with this company. I have started getting calls from them once a week and have spoken to two supervisors about having my number removed since they have supposedly verified that my name is not on any account. They informed me that someone put my number as an alternative number and that it would take 72 hours to filter through accounts to remove it.
That was a month ago and im still getting calls....
then they try to be "slick" and call from different area codes- 214, 469, 619....

From here on out... I will keep my loans through a local C.U. or something....never will I finance with a large company that WILL END UP SELLING TO THESE IDIOTS!!!!!

Not true, cause I've call several time and make arrangement with them. They lie. they don't care you lost your job and your the only parent they just want there money.

I agree 100 % with you. I have had some of the rudest people ever. I borrowed money to get my payment lowered and they lied never wanted to help me just wanted the money.

They called my cousin and act like they was calling for a reference. What kinda sht is that knowing I'm in a bad spot. but the call your friends and relatives. Cool. why don't they try to help you instead of making life harder. I put this number in google and found out what it was.
