Just call them back and tell them to take you off of the calling list.  I just did and they removed me.......but again we shall see.

I am a secretary. These people call for one of my field workers all the time. I tell them that there is no one in the office by that name, and they should not call back. They still call continually. How do I make them stop? They also call from another number:  888.222.4227.  I *69'd both of these numbers. That's how I got them. They are both Drive Financial. I am assuming that it is a collection call.

By law, if the person who they are calling for tells Drive Financial that they are not allowed to receive personal calls at work they have to stop calling there for them.

They called and didnt leave a message. Must be about my late payment again.......go figure. Then when you tell them you cant answer the phone during your work hours they like "Oh you have a job?" Well duh dumbass how else do you pay for your bills.......

it's drive financial and they won't leave a message unless you are really late bc it's an automated call.

I just got a call from Drive.  I googled the number and got this site.  My car is paid off, my truck is financed through GMAC.  What gives?

is it considered harassment if they call me 4 or 5 times a day, EVERYDAY!

I got a call from this number on my cell. I have seen this number before, but could not remember.  I answered it, but no one was on the other end. After looking it up I remembered that it is Drive Financial. My friend used me as a contact so when he is behind on his wife's car payment they call me.  I told them the last time not to call me, because I am sure as hell not going to pay it.   It is Drive Financial autodailer!

Maybe a friend/Family used you as a reference and did not tell you.  That is what happended to me.  I just called them back to talk about my friends case. I told them to take me off their call list because I could not help them.  I lied and told them I don't talk to my friend anymore.  If they can lie so can I.

Receiving calls daily from this number/company in regard to collection of a debt for someone who used me as a credit reference without my knowledge or concent.  How can I get the calls/messages to stop?

Started getting messages from these people saying someone had used us as a reference, and please ask him to call them immediately. We can't--he died two months ago--but neither can call back to let them know, because when we tried to call them back at the number they left, it was answered automatically--without even a choice to dial the extension they had told us. The automated voice just demanded that we put in our account number. Don't have one. Now today, they wanted either our account number or SSN. No way are we leaving THAT! Don't trust these people. How can we get across to them that this person is dead? It's not our fault, or our bill--we didn't even know this person had used us as a reference.

This is from Drive Financial.  It's an Auto Loan company.  If you are behind on a payment (as little as one payment) they will harass you endlessly.  I’ve gotten as many as 8 phone calls in a single day.  If you’re used as a reference on a loan you too will be harassed incessantly.  Even if you’ve paid the loan off (their record keeping sucks) you’ll still get the blasted phone calls.
