I plan making my own yoga dvd and I also will be looking to rent a space in the area(or maybe gym) when i move, as i planned giving yoga classes to people there when i move. I am financially reliable and it has been a plus making money from teaching yoga as alot of people look after themselves now in an easy way. I will like to find a place before i start looking around for something physical/permanent at hospitals there too. I choose to tell you all about me as i need no drama, so please email me back if you are looking to rent ASAP and let me know if i am someone you'd like to rent to.

My sister just received this same exact message about this job. She is currently having it looked in to. This needs to be stopped now. Big time scammer. Sent her a cashiers check as well. Hopefully they can track this person down.

I have been dealing with this woman and her husband for over a month now... She is going by Petal Williams and her husband Bryan Williams and their daughter Janet.  I responded to a Craigslist add she posted for a housekeeper.  She said she was a fashion designer and her husband was a Doctor and they were looking to hire someone to clean a apartment they purchased in Ft. Collins,  CO.  She said the family was in India because her husband was doing missionary work.  He was offered a position at a hospital in Ft. Collins Colorado that is why they were moving.  She wanted to send me a cashier check for cleaning supplies and my fees and was going to have her sister in law (Joan)  meet me at the apartment to let me in to clean before the movers delivered their furniture.  Well when the check arrived it was for $2,460. I immediately was skeptical and called the number she gave me to contact and text her 619-354-9723.  It was her husband that answered stating that his banker screwed up and sent me all the money for the moving company and cleaning supplies in one check.  Then asked if I could deposit the money and pay the movers for them when they arrived.  Then the next day they text me with a bull story stating that the husband had made a huge mistake and the movers needed me to wire money immediately via Western Union. Thankfully I didn't!     I did deposit the check though but notified my bank and they are investigating for fraud and notifing the FBI. I have also notified my local police department.  I have reported them Craigslist as well and I am in the process of tracking them down so they can't scam anyone else.  They need to be stopped!

Don't feel bad..  Mrs.  Petal Williams was apparently working  a scam on me the same time she was working one on you.  I answered a job posting on Craigslist for a housekeeper position.  She fed me a bogus story of how her husband Bryan, her daughter Janet and her were getting ready to move from India to apartment in Ft. She emailed me for a few weeks and gave me the number 619- 354 - 9723 to contact them.  Same thing goes with the money said she would send me a check for cleaning supplies and when it arrived it was for 2,460. I became suspicious so I called and the husband answered and he fed me a line of crap saying how their banker screwed up and sent the money for the movers and cleaning supplies in one check. Then asked if I could deposit the money and pay the movers for them when they arrived.  They did the same thing..  All I heard was please help us..  Please don't let us loose everything we have worked for blah blah blah. I felt bad so I agreed to deposit the check.  Then the next day they called me frantically asking me to wire money immediately via Western Union to the moving company because her husband made a mistake and misunderstood the movers instructions..  I told them as soon as the check cleared I would be more than happy to.  They kept insisting and when I refused they got really angry.  So I decided to research this couple and found this site and saw how they have scamed so many others.  It pissed me off so now I have a personal goal to do all I can to stop them from doing this to people. I reported the check (which hadn't cleared yet)  to the check fraud department of my bank.  I told them what I had read here and how they are doing it to others and they are going to investigate and report this to the FBI.  I have alerted people via Craigslist posts and turned them in to Craigslist and local authorities.  I want them caught!

oh ya she got me. PETAL RICHARDS SIOUX FALLS SOUTH DAKOTA. Tried to respond for a room for rent. $400 a month. She send 3000$. She texts only but after a week says shed call fri or sat. She calls sun morning at 4 am with an african accent. Immediately i txted back i need your full name and ss# for background checks lol. But anyways she was yoga, christian, caucasian, all that traveling to india for a week seminar on yoga then shed be ready to move in. But first shed made a mistake on the check. She sends too much money 2400 too much in fact out of 3000.

she was Petal Richards to me. sent me $2964 cashiers check. Went to india for a yoga seminar, but wait made a misteak with she shipping company and needed $2400 back. Luckily, #1 i was too tired to give any cash to a western union business (it was rainy, cold, i was tired) #2 the western union auto machine at CVS was broken out the yin yang kept screaming while we talked-until i gave and went to another-but gps couldnt fine it-im like wait ive sent money to an african woman pleading for help using western union before on my home pc-so i went home to do it that way-luckily my bank refused western union-and moneygram customer service explained to me the scam.

Just got contacted by her tonight - renting a room in Chugiak, Alaska. Hopefully this idiot will not figure out that we know about her & changes her story/name so the next people will be victims!!! Thank God for this web site!!!

Just wanted to update..  She has changed her name and apparently has a guy who is now in this with her.  I posted an add on Craigslist (Ft Collins)  warning others about her and I had a woman email that said she got the same email back that I did about a job posting for a housekeeper.  Now it's a guy who replied back to her that states his name is Alexander Nelson Jr and his pregnant wife Victoria.  They told her they were from England.

Omg !! I knew something was up! I have been helping my 75 year old neighbor trying to find a roommate and this b!tch almost got us!!! I knew somethin was up when she wouldn't make a phone call only text I'm about to send a very angry email.

Haha same exact emails I hope this person a miserable life and after life. Scum.

I am Petal's current scam. She's been leading me and my roomie on for near a month now. Just got a cashiers check for almost $3000 (she said she was sending a 'shipping fee' along with our security deposit and now she's saying she made a mistake and needs us to wire the money back HA)

Yeah, this 'Petal' is bad news. phone number 605-655-8506, all the same personal information. she told us her mom just died.

Thank you so much for posting this info. Any idea where I can blow the whistle more publicly or what i can do to trip her up? who can I report this to? Her craigslist ad is already gone :/
