I am a christian, Yoga to me is about the purity of the body and mind/improving health and I will never bring it home if you object to it.  About rent, I have money saved up, so you wouldn't have to worry about me paying rent/bills on time till i get settled. I plan making my own yoga video and I also will be looking to rent a space in the area(or maybe gym) when i move, as i planned giving yoga classes to people there when i move. I am financially reliable and it has been a plus making money from teaching yoga as a lot of people look after themselves now in an easy way. I will like to find a place before i start looking around for something physical/permanent at hospitals there too. Received the same response from "Molly N Williams" of Pierre SD yesterday after responding to her Craigslist want ad.

Seemed odd to provide so much personal information and not want to share number, etc until after a commitment.

Smells like trouble.  Much appreciated.

Same exact story. She wasn't Petal Richards or Kari Williams. She is now Molly N. Williams ... should be "Bonnie and Clyde Williams".  She's "a travel nurse", "spent time in India", "her mother died", "moving just for a change", She was "pushing me" to accept a "personal check" to "secure the arrangement".  I responded I wouldn't accept any money until I had her "rental ap" and had completed a "background check". She gave me a phone # of (605)599-7580 and an address of 101 W. Prospect Avenue, Pierre, South Dakota 57501.

She's been emailing me and texting me her name is Molly Williams. I just received a cashiers check from her for 2750 luckily I didn't cash it because I looked up the bank and then I decided to look up the name and then found this site.

She almost got me too, Molly N Williams.. Don't understand why anyone would do this type of stuff. Glad we have the internet to find out these types of things.. Karma will get her one day..

She is now trying her scam in Gainesville, FL.  as Molly Williams/Pierre, SD (605-599-7580).....same personal crap....using email joma811@aol.com...BEWARE!!!!!  She wants to send cashier's check with added funds for shipping personal items...BEWARE!  If you deposit her check (only to find it is BOGUS/FRADULENT) she will then have your banking information on processed check!!!!!!!!!!!  BEWARE!!!!!!!  Maybe she will "get the cancer her mother recently died from!"  EVERYONE MUST REPORT HER TO CRAIGSLIST TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!  If they don't come to my rental in person and don't bring cash.....I flag them on Craigslist!

Same exact thing. Glad I checked - this is why I didn't want to put up an ad on Craigslist to begin with. That's okay though - I told her the only way I'd move forward is if we Skype,  become social media friends, and talk on the phone, and that I would only accept a deposit in person or by cashiers check mailed to a third party at an address of my choosing. Lol I expect her travel plans to mysteriously fall through any minute now.

Thanks guys. I got exactly same things in our past 10 emails back and forth. Her name, phone number, address, her career, her liking yoga teaching yoga and going to India next week for a yoga seminar, her mother recently died from cancer, etc. She also sent me a check for her Toyota Camry car delivery to my place.

I did not realize at all this might be a spam until last time I asked her to email me directly instead of via craiglist, and her email address joma822m@aol.com looks fishy to me. I searched "craiglist spam" and read a lot, and think as long as she did not overpay me with her check and ask me to send her back some money then there should be no problem. She might be still a real person. Today I searched again using her cell phone # and it brought me here. Now I believe it's a spam for sure. I have to say that she is a professional spammer. Hope there are more people knowing her.

She did the same thing with me as it sounds like she did to everyone else here. Said she was from SD and was into yoga, her mom just died and she was going on a sudden trip to India for a yoga thing. She was very insistent that I deposit the check for over $2500 (for rent and to pay the movers) that she sent me. Once I said I had (when really I hadn't) she came to me with some story about how she needed the money back. I told her it was never deposited in the first place and she stopped talking to me. Run. She is a scammer and I've been hit by her.

I am so glad I googled her name and found this site!!!!  There was just something about her writing style that threw up a red flag.  She was all ready to send me a cashiers' check to hold the rental, until I asked her to send past rental references.  I haven't heard back from her in 5 days.  She first introduced herself as Molly N Williams, then in a later email she gave me her address and phone number and said her name was Molly Haley Williams.  The story she gave me is word for word as what I am reading on these posts.  Did she send pictures of herself, as well?  She said she was a traveling nurse and yoga instructor (something she picked up from her time in India).  The pictures she sent were of a very fair, very blonde girl in various yoga stretches.  I did send her pictures of my rental...I am regretting that now.  Again, can't say how relieved I am now that I know why I had that gut feeling.

I got the same message and had my hopes up for a decent roommate! I'm glad I checked the internet!
