- gjthedj replies to ICMSI'm part of referral program for VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone service available to DSL/Cable/or other High speed Internet service. Unlike "local" phone companies, you can block ALL incoming 800, unknown & similar calls. Direct specified callers go directly to voicemail or "busy".
MUCH cheaper than most local companies....only $19.95 per month or LESS for 2 year commitment.
If interested, email: gjathome@gmail.com - CemmieI started getting calls from this number after totally ignoring the calls coming in from the 336 area code number. I do not have a sears card, and I do not have any cards or accounts with citibank, so odd they should even be calling me in the first place. At first I thought it was a telemarketer till I searched the numbers. It's annoying, but I never answer calls from numbers not on my contact list. So I'm not sure how they got my number, or why they're calling. I have friends who tell me citibank/group in general are ::insert expletive here:: So, best to avoid them like the plague. And to those holier than thou types, life can deal you murderous circumstances, especially in this era. My husband suffered a breakdown and just wandered off and disappeared, and left everything behind. So before you judge people, see and 'understand' the whole picture.
- tamaleewoke my baby up on a Saturday morning. Not to mention, this is a cell phone that I have to pay for. call me again and I will file a report...I'm not kidding....this is so rediculous!! F$%&^%%^^UUUUUU
- I agree with you -------------- replies to reply to people paying their bills..tagI agree with you on many of the things you said in your message. Times are tough and I fall in with the hard times. I am single, and no kids so I am able to survive but I can't survive in this economy of today. I am 60 and have no savings or an income coming in. So, I started my own business so that I could have something. Until it picks up, (only in my first year) I am having a really hard time. I hardly eat and put in many hours in my business. Luckly, I work out of my home. The business is doing well but I am the only person so I could use the help, but then the gov't would put me in a different bracket and I don't need that at this time. So somedays little money come in because I am just too tired to make anhy product. BUT, I'm not just sitting and feeling sorry for myself. I am working. I am to young to collect social and am able to work so I am denied any help of any kind. Nor, do I want any, really. I just need time to get on my feet without all the late fees and extra charges the credit cards attach. I will try to pay something but even that is hard for me right now. Just keeping a roof over my head is bad enough.
I promise you all, that I will never use another credit card as long as I live. The credit card industry have taken over where the loan sharks used to be. And, they get away with stealing peoples money. There should be a limit as to how many times they can charge a person late fees in this recession. I did not start this bad economy, it was staryted by greed when gasoline went to $4.00 a gallon and even as far back in the 80's.
Are there any others in the same boat as I am? I hope good will come out of misfortune. Why aren't there any watch groups trying to protect us from the credit card companies? 8-14-2009 Pennsylvania - SAY WHAT? replies to kWould love to pay my bills so the collectors don't call. WSould you be so kind to GIVE the money -- bill collector. By the sound of your statement, you must be one of those morons that keep calling me. I hope bad tinmes fall onyou so you will know what it's like to be without.

- Lynn ZIehrTHey asked for me and I asked what company was calling. Did not answer my question just hung up on me.
- On 2 U replies to me6279You obviously work for Sears and have nothing more to do with your time but defend them. When you put yourself or your company in the positon to loan money to the public you protect yourself from loss. Sears obviously has protected themselves from loss, it called Loss Protection Insurance. You do not know what you are talking about, its not personal, it is only business, but that was a nice try!!!!

- D & D| 2 repliesWe just received a call asking for his legally married spouse, he handed the phone to me. When I said that there is no legally married spouse, I was as close as you can get, they said it had to be a legally married spouse. They also said that it was not a sales call, but business, have a nice day, and hung up. We have no overdue card. As there has never been a legal spouse, I don't think these are legit. Guy sounded like a funeral director.
- D & D replies to D & D| 1 replyOK, because of what we read here, we were ready. Received 2 more calls, so we just said Hello, Hello, Hello, and hung up on them.
Today, we received one this morning from another number 336-522-8999. Claimed they were Citibank. When asked for a letter as proof, they stated they could not. Told them there was no reason to be calling us, they just said the calls would continue. Received 3 more over the day, did not answer. No message left. I am sending record of calls to Sears and Citibank Corporate as this continues. My goal is to harass the harassers,as I am certain they are a scam or they would be able to prove it with a letter. If we all do this, perhaps it will put a dent in the operation! What do you all think? I will post the corporate websites for Sears and Citibank. - D & D replies to D & DTo Send an email to Sears:
