Do not call me.

I too received a call from Marin,Ohio on 1/25/11. The person I spoke with was very nice but she told me I  was past due on my account when in fact had been paid, which she located and stated it had been applied to my macys account which had a zero balance. She corrected the mistake and reversed the charges or so she said. After reading all these postings I now wonder??? The most annoying thing is you cannot get a website to view your account balance. I tried and it would not take my user ID and password. I want to pay this off and cancel  the account as I think  this is poorly run and borders on scamming. I can't believe a giant like Macys would deal with these types.

Received a call on 1/25/11. Caller stated my account balance,which she had, was past due. I told her it had been paid 2 weeks ago. She looked further and stated she had found a payment that was applied to my macys account which had a zero balance. How weird is that? She sated she had applied the payment and had reversed all charges. Cannot get on amex/macys website to verify.

I also get so many calls from this number!! Also from (727) number which is also scam. Whats up with  this all of a sudden??!!

Apparently, this is Macy's customer se3rvice.  I do not do business with Macy's, do not have a credit card probably never will.  No one in my family has a Macy's credit card.  Its ok with me if you start levying fines.

We have been receiving numerous calls from this same phone number.  two months ago many, then they stopped, now for the past two weeks About 20 per day.
We both do have accounts with Macy's all are paid to date, never been behind.  I received an automated call at work last week,  telling me to enter one if was me. I did and the call went dead.
My husband did check this phone number, angry this morning.  They just called again  - he answered and no respose.
He is attempting to block our number.
I will contact Macy's. I won't buy anything any longer until I get some sort of explanation.

We are unable to block the number! - it won't allow us.

im going crazy with 4-5 phone calls a day nobody leaving a message or leaving one but not saying anything tying up my voice mailbox you know who you are and your not getting away with, pretty soon your gonna have to answer to this harrasment

I've received 2 calls today alone.  I finally decided to call back and was immediately placed on hold - "your call will be answered in the order it was received" was all I heard.  I hung up.  Glad I googled this number - sounds fishy.  I just opened a Macy's card two months ago and I'm wondering if their security has been compromised.

I receive unwanted calls from this number.   I have no Macy's accounts.  This is harassment.

i dont know what this # is. but from reading these responses it must be serious. know i am scared to even sleep tonight! that (515) number!know my facebook and email are blocked! what do i do!

Got a call from them today, no message. Don't know anyone from Ohio.

I have suddenly been getting calls from this number and others all day, every day.  It's from people claiming to be from Macy's.  I called Macy's.  I have a zero balance and the woman on the phone that I talked to informed me that the account has been closed since 2008!  I informed her of websites like this, and that SO many people will not shop at Macy's anymore because of this and I was finished with "Is there anything else I can do for you?  Thank you for calling Macy's".

Good to know this is Macy's. I forgot to pay last month's bill. I just made a payment let's see if the calls stop.

513-573-8031 is calling me once a day for the past week.
I will not answer and I will not do business with Macy's anymore if it is them.
Shame on Macy's!

YUP, as I read other posts, I think that there is something that Macy's needs to address with regard to these annoying calls,  I'm receiving calls from this and another number which is 727-556-7300 and if you Google it, comes back to the same issue as this number.  I just got of the phone with Macy's and after a frustrating conversation, the person was unwilling to deal with it.  Macy's, heads up you are not doing your customers a service and I am now wondering if their system was hacked into, or if they are outsourcing their credit department with our personal information.

This is wrong.  How do we report this?
