Please stop these annoying calls- waking me from sleep- they leave no message, but call repeatedly.

This appears to be 3rd-party (overseas?) collection for Macy's, which makes no sense to me since I'm not late on my account payment and have a relatively low balance. They call repeatedly, sometimes more than once in a day, and never leave a  message. They have the ability to spoof various numbers that appear to be from, for instance, Ohio or Florida, to make you think it's someone you know--but that's not the real origin of the call. Do not pay them. They may charge you for paying through them. Block their calls from each number they spoof and you research. Call Macy's, or pay online at Macys.com.

I called back and they only spoke Spanish...pretty sure they weren't Macy's

I just spoke with Macys Customer Service online and they verified that 513-573-8031 is a legitimate call from them.

It's Macy's.  Pay your bill.

I haven't been getting calls from this number, but my sister has been getting calls looking for me. My sister gave me this phone 513-573-8031 and said for me to call. So I did and they stated they were Macy's collections and I said my sister was getting calls looking for me, she asked for an account number which I didn't have, then asked if I had a Macy's card I explained I hadn't had one for over 5+ years. The customer service rep asked for my phone number and I gave it to her, she said she had no record for me I said well that's not what you say when you call my sister, she then asked for the number of the person they were calling, I gave the number and she said they've been looking for my sister NOT ME! Talked with my sister relayed the info and I get the feeling that this call center doesn't know who's on first. Annoying for sure but I don't think it's a scam just think they're extremely disorganized.

I get these calls too on my cell as I don't have a landline.  I just went to my cell providers site and under my account I blocked the number.  No more calls.

I started getting these calls too and with no one answering.  The last one I just picked up the phone and didn't say anything.  The line went dead.  I found this blog and now am informed.  I have a cell phone only so logged onto my account and blocked the number.

I have been getting calls from 513-573-8031 for several weeks. The calls begin before 8:00 in the morning and end sometime after 8:00 in the evening. I have answered only once but the person would not identify what he wanted. He would only say that he had business with me. I felt it was some kind of scam. I asked they the calls stop but they have not stopped.

Received MANY calls, more than once a day for at least two weeks. Never left a message. When I called back, they said they were calling from Macy's and that I owed $88. I have a Macy's account, but payment is on auto draft, so I don't owe anything past due. Then they asked for my social security number and date of birth, which I refused to give them. This is NOT legit. It is a scam to get your personal info. Do not tell them anything. Call the police and report it!

I have no Macys bill you fool.  They are calling my number in error and do not stop even after I told them I was not the person they were looking for.

This is the fifth number that has called me since October 31, supposedly from Macy's.  I have been blocking each number as they come in.  Only two voicemails have been left, and they were both generic recorded messages saying it was about a "personal business matter", but no mention of the person they were looking for.  I've called Macy's twice to complain about this.  The first time they told me my number was associated with some other name.  When I said I had no idea who the person is, Macy's told me my number would be removed from their system.  Not so.  Here is a list of the calls I have gotten so far:

I have filed a complaint with the CFPB and am considering sending a CMRR "not me/ cease comm" letter as well.

Use android app MrNumber to block all calls from area code 513 and 727 and never shop at Macy's again.

They are annoying!! I paid them and keep getting calls from many different states at all hours and no voicemails and when I did pick up I hardly can understand them!!

This Number calls me Approx 10 times a day Every Day for two weeks now.

blew up my phone today, like 6 times. finally got the time to google the number & now I know its a scam. gonna block the number...suckas!!

You can download a App named Textme in your Ipad.it can call free in USA and CANADA. Then you call 513-573-8031 using Ipad, When the receiver pick the phoone .Horn your air horn^_^

that's not really Macy's. Macy's doesn't have call centers in mason ohio. they call from a 1800 number and they also don't harass you. this is a scam do not give them any information

many calls from 513-573-8031, never leave a message; when I answer the phone, 2nd ring, no one talks, period. so I called and immediately got a canned type of this call may be monitored however, it lacked the quality of that typical speel and looped/repeating this, the woman came on heavily accented and she said well you must have a Macy's card or we wouldn't call you, give me your account number so I can confirm this and have the calls stop and a few more words and I hung up.  I said I want the calls to stop, period.  She said well I have to have your account to stop the calls, I hung up.
I don't perceive this has ANYTHING to do with macy's though their personal information/account holder information may have been hacked?  very annoying.

They call everyday I do not have a Macys card
