Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Macy's or a company claiming to be Macy's. Been consistently getting calls multiple times a day about a week now, from two different numbers: (513) 573-8031 & (513) 573-7978. They're looking for the previous owner of my # despite my owning it for a year and a half now, little late guys. Also, told one of their minions around 10am today that they had the wrong number. 4 hours later, they called back again. This is gonna be a long battle for piece & sanity...

This company is ridiculously harrassing.  Not only do they call at all hours, they call several times in one hour, or at LEAST once an hour, when I've already spoken to a representative and asked them to place a note on my account that I would pay off the balance through Macy's and even provided a date for payment.  They've called constantly from morning to night and I have asked repeatedly to stop calling me as I have alrady asked a representative to place a note on the account that payment was forthcoming.  This is ridiculous.  I have received no less than 20 calls since THIS SUNDAY March 20, 2016 and at the time of this writing it is barely past noon (12:35PM) on WEDNESDAY March 23, 2016.  That is NOT a reasonable amount of follow up or phone calling that is extremely HARRASSING and a violation of the unfair and deceptive debt collection practices act.

I don't think they're a real collections agency for Macy's. I think they're just posing as one. A lot of people have Macy's/Bloomingdale's accounts, so they just throw that name out there and hope you have one of the cards. After receiving 8 phone calls today alone, I called the number back and got a canned "this phone call might be monitored" recording; never mentions who I'm calling. They guy who picked up (heavy middle-eastern accent) said "Macy's/Bloomingdale's credit card hotline, can I have your account number?" I told him I didn't have it, so I gave him my phone number instead. Then, when he asked for my name and the last 4 of my social, I smelled a scam and hung up on him. I DO have a Macy's card that has a past-due balance on it of $100.00 (apparently missed the bill come through in my email last month. oops.) but, there's no WAY these people would be harassing me over a $100.00 past-due balance that's only 30 days out. I doubt these folks are associated with Macy's. It's a total scam.

    macy's upset customer
Have been getting18 calls from so many numbers starting September 28th till today (October 2, 2016) just got one while typing this! Macy's uses so many numbers to harrass people. Guess what? I will not answer harassing calls! Plus I have a pre-paid card which means I load it up with money when I want to use it. It is NOT a regular credit card. FTC will be notified of this cause I am sick of it!

Contact your cellular service provider and ask them to block this number so its calls never get sent to your cell phone, as this is a serious abuse of the privilege of calling a cellular number.
