They're back!!! They stopped calling for a week, perhaps two but are back at it again. At the top of the annoyance pyramid, these folks with their conscious effort to cheat and defraud. All times of the day and night they intrude and are up to no good. How much money can they make doing whatever it is that they really do? I for one wish they would find another livelihood.

Just received a call from this number, it could be Verizon or some kind of survey or sales bs connected to them. I recently called them after my FIOS internet service went up from $35 to $41 a month, a 17% increase ! Verizon is the biggest monopoly scam there is. Theres always something a little "better" than what you currently have that they want to sell you, oh by the way its only another $10 a month ! Everyday I get fliers in the mail with specials like $79.99 a month for TV, Internet and phone yet I'm paying almost $200 a month for the same after being a FIOS customer for 8 years. Another way they screw you is on the equipment rental for the DVR and set top boxes. These are only available from them on a rental basis and are never completely paid for. I've probably paid several thousand dollars in rental fees for the boxes over several years paying what they are actually worth several times over. I'm so close to just ripping out their crap over priced equipment, sending it back and telling them to get fk'd.

called 5 times in as many minutes today, 12/16.  I have them on call block.  Guess No Call List isn't exactly as helpful but I am calling Verizon regarding them.

Getting these calls more and more . Caller ID shows NASSAUZN01 NY 516-570-9227 , but I never answered it and no message left . Looks like I should put this on BLOCKED calls ,from reading the info here .  Blocked it shall be .

Received 8-10 calls A DAY from these guys. I picked up one day and they claimed to be from Verizon (but caller ID said "NASSAUZN01 NY"). They said they want to upgrade me to FIOS and that the're a special promotion going on in my area. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!! This is another scam.

they called and got very arthritic housemate out of bed only to get to a dial tone. ny ? we are in va and have verizon so call should have come from a local office IF LEGIT !  left no message.

Scam. Blocked.

Called the house around 2:00pm eastern left no voice mail

In 2 hours 30 calls. They never give up.

This telemarketing company claims to be working for Verizon. Calls at all times of the day!

Received numerous calls from this 516 number, plus the NassauNY #.  I phoned the 516 # back, got a menu, one choice of which was to place your number of the Verizon DO NOT CALL LIST, so that's what I did.  Said it could take up to 30 days to be in effect.  They did ID themselves as being Verizon, offering new/additional products and services.  Hope placing my # on the DO NOT CALL list doesn't backfire somehow!   Makes me want to pull the phone right out of the wall !!

They have been calling periodically for some time, leaving no message. I blocked them, however the phone still rings once when they call . They just called 12 times in a period of 10 minutes. I temporarily unblocked them in order to speak to them on call #13, intending to record the conversation. The calls stopped for now. Filing what I feel is a useless report with the FCC. Wondering if any news media is interested how these people continue to get away with this intrusion into our homes. My landline is useless. I never answer it. It's for emergencies only.  
I use Verizon. If I find out these people are from Verizon, I will cancel them asap and sign up with their compitition.

Maybe if the REAL Verizon was aware of this and wasn't part of the scam THEY could shut them down???

This is an actual legit Verizon promotions number. When you call back, it even tells you to call 1800verizon, if you need help with billing or technical issues. More than likely, they are trying to get you to upgrade or add services.

Didn't recognize the name, so I let it go to voice message recorder.

They didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from it on house phone. Decided not to pick up. No message left.

get rid of FIOS like I did and buy a flat screen antenna for indoor or outdoor antenna where you will receive a lot mkore channels. Currently getting all local channels and sure am happy to have dropped FIOS...or years they have ripped us all off..Stop the madness and drop them like a lead bullet.  No more bull [***] trumped up fraud charges....by a $15.00 booster with indoor antenna which will run 50-80 bucks for a good one and you will get around 30 channels...try it you'll like it...
