I called the number back, pressed 3 then 1.
My phone is now on Verizon DNC list.

11 calls in 30 minutes from 516-570-9227 - caller ID says NASSAUZNO1 but no messages left.  This borders on harassment

I receive calls from these scum several times a week for a year or more. I always report to the Do Not Call list.

Everyday they call, never leave a message, caller ID indicate NassauZN01, NY.
If it actually was Verizon, the caller ID would indicate, and I would not get a call from NY, given I have Verizon right here, in FLORIDA.
Tired of these calls, and my provider is Verizon.

This number called us 5 times in less than 5 minutes.  We have this call blocked.  On the last call I answered it and told them to take me off their calling list.  She said it was Verizon.

Called at 1pm.  No message left.

was a call to up my service for Verizon they were relent less until I  unblocked the number. they informed me they were recording the call and asked if I was interested in a HBO package I said i was not interested . Then the rep asked about 50 Mbps I said no as Verizon will loose me as a customer next month unless they can beat cable-visions price with no contract.    

"Nassauzn01" is Nassau Zone 1 the caller ID is where the call is coming from. It's still a BS Verizon solicitation though.

Identified themselves as Verizon.  They asked for my husband and I told them I was the main accountholder.  When they asked my name I told them if they were Verizon they would know it and I hung up.

Rec'd call today.  No message lef.  I wasn't here when it came in altho I don't answer any unfamiliar calls especially one that comes in as NASSAUZNO1NY.  Will block this call.

I listened to my message with this call....while they did not leave a message, voices could be heard in the background altho could not make out what they were saying.  Sounds like telemarketers

And just think....WE pay this so called government!  Disgusting isn't it?

Received hang up call on my voicemail.  Number blocked.

It really is Verizon offering promotions.  Call the number again then press 3 to be put on the do not call list.  it will take 30 days to take effect.  They were calling me non-stop several times a day.  When you talk to Verizon at anytime, anything close to "maybe" or I'll think about it and you wind up getting these marketing calls.

Hey folks we know the scam numbers they haven't changed in a few years! Our government doesn't give a [***] so that's leaves, "we the people". I have a circle of friends and coworkers who have a fairly substantial list of "scam" numbers that we all call at random times sometimes they ring sometimes they and sometimes they answer and then its game on :-) if we had a few thousand citizens calling these numbers and choking them out to where they have to change numbers at the very least make it harder on them and have a bit of fun then great! Google Microsoft scams etc and you can start building a list of their numbers and join in on the fun. The 419 scammers operate out of Nigeria, the Microsoft scammers (240) area code are out of India, go figure! As you know our government has become a joke and its up to us! We also now have 2 locations in and around Mumbai that will paid a social call shortly. Oh yeah if our government won't do [***] you can guess the Indian government won't either since they are balls deep in all of it in regards to bribes. I've passed the point of talking about it and look forward to a face to face (fist to face) chat with these fine members of planet earth

They are still at it...all the time. Only now, they have removed the identity. I do not pick up the phone unless the caller identifies on my answering machine, and all my friends know this.  Anyone who fails to do this is simply ignored, every time! A lot of scammers have given up on my number.

Shows NASSAUZN01 NY didn't leave a message on answering machine but when I called back they said it was Verizon and I received a call from them for promotional products and services. I just hung up. Don't trust this kind of ID and not leaving a message or call back number. I don't answer unless I know who it is. If it's important, they'll leave a message. I'm going to call my local Verizon and ask them.
