These parasites call everyday.  I usually don't answer but I am tired of these annoying calls.  Told them not to call 2 separate times.  Next call they will be treated to my tv blasting loud until they hang up.

I've had a lot of hang-up calls over the past few weeks.  I don't have caller ID, but today I was home when one came in (I'm screening calls with my answering machine), and I used *69, and got this number.

Scum of the earth scam don't pick up and never call back or you might find charges.

My telephone service Verizon is by far the worst offender of the do not call list at my house. I asked not to be updated on their promotions but they still try to jam them up your a-- by calling constantly. I do not answer and they do not stop calling.  I think service providers should be the ones responsible for providing do not call block at no extra cost. Once you hit retirement age I believe you are put on another list,that now your available to answer your phone at any time. I get all my exercise by running to the phone and finding it's yet another # I don't recognize.

These idiots have been calling for 8 Months!!!! When, and how, can we stop all this BS???

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Same drill... called and said he was from Verizon (I doubt it) and that this conversation would be recorded.  He asked if it would be okay to record it and I said NO and hung up.  Don't ever give these THINGS any leeway - even the time of day!  One more ring from them and they get blocked.  If you don't have a spare slot to block them with, and don't want to hear the phone ring for 6 or 8 times -  just go off-hook and immediately on-hook.

I have received calls from this number MANY times.  The one time I DID answer they said they were representing Verizon and offering Verizon promotions.  I told them I knew they were a SCAM,  and told them that if Verizon was REALLY offering promotions, Verizon, themselves, would be calling me, and the number on my caller I.D. would say Verizon. I simply hung up on them, and they still continue to call me.  Of course, I wont answer and/or return their call.

Verizon has multiple calls to my home even though we told them to stop AND I have OPTED out from Sales Calls, PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES through Verizon website. At times appear as OUT OF AREA. The caller ID shows 516-570-9228/9227.

They called me yesterday and again today.  The first time I didn't answer, the second time I did.  They represent Verizon.  All you have to do is tell them to remove your name and phone number from their calling list.  They said they would and it would maybe take 30 days.  My feeling is with the technology the way it is now, it shouldn't take 30 days.  Seems like all they would have to do is delete the number from their data base.

This number calls a lot and a person will give a name.  After all these months if it was a legitimate caller they would have certainly stopped.   My friend and I are harassed by these types of phone calls.  I would think the phone company would find a means to stop them

I love this idea! I personally haven't made any list but, when a scam # calls, I will be relentless with call backs day and night until they delete it and stop using it. I'll get up at 3am and call 10 times. Whatever it takes to kick there [***]!

This number called and asked about upgrading my Verizon service.  After several attempts to get me to upgrade without any success, he hung up on me.

Someone claiming to be with Verizon, offering a special on a movie package. When they called the first time, I said I was not interested.  Now the same person has called again with the same offer.  Can't be sure if it's really Verizon at this point, especially given the strange caller ID info.  I might have to end up blocking the number, even though I might be interested in hearing about legitimate offers from Verizon in the future.  If this is really Verizon, they should re-think their strategies.

I keep getting harassing phone calls all day from this number. I'm registered with the do not call list to avoid all these calls but now I get them more than before. Totally useless.

NASSAUZN01 NY on caller id, highly doubt it is Verizon although Verizon FIOS has recently become available in my area.  A rep has been out in our are trying to get people to sign up.  Can't say for sure where he was from as I threw away his card, but I seriously think the id would say verizon and the call came at 8 pm.

Got a call from this number, no message. I called back from a prepaid cell phone and it answers with a Verizon recording (or pretending to be Verizon). I pressed 1 for services and a man with an African American name and voice answered and asked for my name. I didn't give my name but asked if the call showing as NASSAUZNO 1NY was Verizon he said yes and that they were calling about offering FiOS. I said thanks and hung up.

I think this is probably a telemarketing company hired by Verizon to sell FiOS and is not actually Verizon themselves.

I now report each of these call to DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  Don't know if it helps but someone needs to report the calls.
