Have been getting calls from this number the past few days. Caller ID sometimes says Manhasset, other times it says Unknown Name. I never pick up because even though it's my local area code, I don't know anyone with that number. The funny thing is, it only rings once and then hangs up. I guess the robo caller quits if no one picks up on the first ring?

The shill for the fraud would like you to call back, so that your number can be identified as "live" and placed on a suckers list for repeated calls from this fraud and others.

I received a call yesterday. Definitely Verizon. I checked via live chat on Verizon.net. I wanted to make sure no changes were made to my account b/c of the pushiness of the seller. The lady also took me off their call list.

Caller ID - unknown caller - Older gentleman went on a long long spiel about adding channels to my line up. I said no. He then went into a long spiel about getting a new router for $15 a month and faster internet. Multiple devices in household blah blah blah. I said no and hung up.

Daily calls even though I have never answered and have silenced ringer.

It is Verizon.  They want to know how they can best serve ur needs.  If u have verizon land line they r trying to get u to bundle.  I already bundled & they apoligized for the call.  Answer the call & tell them to stop calling if u do not want to hear their sales pitch otherwise they will continue to call u several times a day.

Don't know who they are, but they have been calling about twice a month for the last three months.
