Caller ID reads 602-274-9911. I have no history of bad debts and owe nothing.

Anytime a person calls and identifies himself/herself as being "from The Law Office of..." they are usually just support staff (i.e. secretary, paralegal, collector) and not a licensed attorney. As others have stated, there is typically only 1 or 2 actually attorneys working in the "Law Office".

An actual licensed attorney will almost never get on the phone or call to speak to you; if they do, they have ethics rules and codes of conduct as stipulated by state law and state bar associations. If an attorney were to call and harass you, make threats, or do or say anything that violates the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, the that attorney would be subject ethical and/or criminal charges and have could have his/her license to practice law revoked by the State Bar.

So, if you wish to file a complaint, I would first find out if "Joe Pazzulo" is actually licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona or in any state, and, second, if he is licensed, then I would contact the Arizona State Bar and file a complaint and/or ethics charges against him.

An actual attorney will go to great lengths not to put his/her license in jeopardy.

I've seen many calls on caller ID while I am gone. I answered their call today and they asked who they were speaking with. I asked "Who wants to know?" He was looking for a neighbor and wanted me to get a message to her. I don't know her and wouldn't admit it even if I did since the caller ID referenced the lawyer mentioned above. I do know the guy that lives there so I will give him a courtesy heads-up with the caller ID info. Though the guy on the phone first mentioned my wife (the phone is in her name, so reverse look-up would show that), I know they are not looking for either of us because when we bought a new car last year through my nephew he told us we both had 800+ credit scores (with a big smile on his face). No defaults or bad debt on our record. I'm sure this is collections as others have indicated and

How interesting!  I've been getting these calls, too.  They always ask for a person I've never heard of and will NOT take my answer to that effect or respect my demand that they cease calling.  I am sooooo glad to know that this is just a scam.  When I reported it to my phone company they said there was nothing they could do if there was no overt threat, except change my phone number.  To heck with that, I've had that number for years!  Anyway, my phone co's advice was to ignore these calls and not answer, so that is what I am doing.  If anyone gets enough on these bleeps to prosecute them, let me know, as I would want in on that action!

Wow people are picking on a guy for paying his bill and you're calling him out. You may have to pay a small tax for a 1099 form but it still beter to have a bill settled then charged-off morons. Who do you think you're fooling... The person whose post I am replying to, they work for this "law office" and they are a debt collector. You are so transparent, there should really be some rule requiring that you disclose if you work for this "law office" or not on here.

These people called me saying they're from the law offices of Joe Pizulo. They are looking for someone whose name I've never heard of before. Luckily, I used to be a collector in college so I know their tricks. First off, if you get a call from these people, even if they're looking for you NEVER ANSWER, NEVER GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. They use ANY information that you give against you. Second, it is not a lawyer calling, that's why they say "from the law offices of" instead of saying they're a lawyer. It is usually a debt collection agency collector who has paid money to be able to say they're calling from a law office. Third, if you see any comments on this page telling you to just answer them and pay off the debt, don't do it, these comments are probably coming from one of "Joe Pizulo"'s minions.

It's not a phishing scam, but they are debt collectors. Either way, you are correct in not giving them any information. You can file a cease and desist against them, scroll down this page and read other comments for details on how to do this.

Who do you think you're fooling, "X"? You obviously work in these "law offices" as some debt collector making a measly 12 dollars an hour. Your logic isn't even correct, anyone half intelligent would not work with these scumbags and instead ignore them. I know all your tricks since I used to be a collector. I just got a call too!  They have been calling family members and everything...I would not tell them anything and they are very annoying and forcefull.  i tried the "no espeak a english" line and that threw them for a loop...i loved it :)

I received a call from Michelle of the law office of Joe Pezzuto.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer the call.  She wants me to call her back at 1-866-826-4101 ext.266 (different from the caller id).  From what I've been seeing on this website, it appears that they are some kind of debt collection agency for Bank of America.  Funny thing is that I don't have a credit card from Bank of America...I did YEARS ago, but that was paid off in full and the account was closed.  Also, I have no other outstanding debt...I have an excellent credit score!  So, I'm not sure why there are calling and I don't think I want to call them back or take their calls...

Very poor doctor. keeps horrible records. Staff is rude especially the lady Dandicka supposed to be the office manager. This Dr Griffith knows absolutely nothing about nutrition and food, let me repeat nothing. He is really obese, he smells and smokes but will tell you how to diet and eat. Don't go over any of the blood work with you. Ultra aggressive, never spent no more than 4 minutes I mean this literally with me. The best one of them all called me a dumb azzz [***].‎

this number calls me several times a day and leaves tons of messages. sometimes they call from a different 866 or 888 number, but its the same message and same people harassing me about my boyfriends debt. i made the mistake of answering one time and they wont leave me alone. when i did talk to them they had the balls to demand that i take responsibility for my boyfriends debt and pay it off myself if i dont want any more calls. his mother has also been getting harassing calls on her home phone saying the same thing. hes 30 years old, he doesnt live at home, neither his mother nor i are responsible, but they seem to think otherwise. i recommend never answering, and if the calls dont stop, join me in filing a bar charge. they need to learn that this behavior is not okay.

Getting them calling from both the 602 area code as well as the toll free number for someone I've never heard of.  They call on my cell a number I've had for oh, about 10yrs.  I don't bother answering, but they have that never die spirit and keep on trying.  I'm not about to waste my minutes, my breath or my time when it has nothing at all to do with me, or anyone I know

i never answer any calls from these pricks!!! credit card debt in UNSECURED DEBT, as a result they can't take anything away from you, because at the time when the credit card company issued you credit they did not take anything from you as collateral. As a result, they can keep calling but they are not getting sh*t from me!!!! the credit card companies screwed me, so i am not paying joe pizulo a frickin dime!!! even if they want to take you to court (which i haven't been notified of because I never answer) they can't take anything from you because credit cards once again are UNSECURED DEBT!! has anyone been sued? if you have please let us know what happened and what you did! thanks
