GE Money Bank does handle lots of companies, including PayPal Buyer Credit, Care Credit, JC Penney....   I thought HSBC was bad but GE Money takes harrassment to a new level.
If you have a cell phone and are unable to block the calls, then add them to your contact list.  Then, edit the contact listing to have a silent ringtone.  At least when you are getting harrassed, you don't have to listen to it.
They call my phone several times a day.  I got so fed up, I gave them "the silent treatment".

GEMB will only respond to valid customer complaints when they come in via the Office of Thrift Supervision - I know this for a fact.  I had to get the OTS involved to make them fix THEIR MISTAKES

GE Money  They called and would not stop calling at home at work put me on
hold and would not leave no message. Then they said the card is good when it is not. Ge Money want to know why is in my banck assount. That is only for me to know any no elso to know.
Maybe I should go to the DA offfic. That would make the news all over the usa Big time.

Ge also has another number 937-534-2092.  I discovered that if they can not reach you at one number they will use one of their other numbers to call you. Before answering your phone, this is for everyone, always keep the number online.  GE will use many numbers to call you.

I have my phone set to no ring.  Try that.

They (GE Money Bank) started calling me yesterday regarding my CareCredit account. I don't answer calls I don't recognize, so I googled the number to see who it was. They have called a good 10 times in the past two days and they never leave a voicemail. What stinks is that I put money into my account yesterday, so they really need to stop.

The call and leave messages...which I don't pick up.  Or they call and don't leave a message.  I am on a NO CALL list.  What can be done about this???  Makes me angry and frustrated.

I get repeated calls at 3 in the last 3 hours.  They ask for me to confirm that this is indeed me by pressing a button then hang up.  I am not sure what this is but I thought it might be a collection agency, some kind of scam or some sort of phone virus or something?  However I really should not be getting calls form any collection agency and I thought my number was signed up to not receive any unsolicited calls.  You should report this odd call to the FTC and/or the Chamber of commerce(I know but seriously you should make them aware of odd business practices affecting their community).

Got a call from this number Dec.3,2009 at 9:45am.
Caller said he was calling about a medical bill.  He had the wrong address.  Asked for my husband's social security number which I refused to give.  Then asked for his date of birth, which I refused to give.  He was very pushy about wanting confirmation that he had reached the wrong party.  I finally hung up on him.

They must not have a life. And I thought retail jobs were bad

EXACTLY.  I opened a Care Credit account for a pet emergency in very early November 2009.  It is currently the END of December, have NOT received a statement and they are calling to try and tell me I am late with a payment.  After reading your post, I called them, ASSERTED myself, and told them I was going to make a complaint to both the Federal Trade Commission AND the Office of Thrift Supervision.  That got their attention.  They took the late charge OFF of my statement and I agreed to a one time payment by phone.  THEN, they wanted to charge me an extra $15 to make a payment by phone.  I again, reminded them that I would call the above mentioned agencies, so they recinded the $15 pay by phone charge.
I paid a minimum balance of $71 and the male person whom I spoke to suggested for me to pay and "even" $100.  NO WAY.  $71 bucks is what they got. I asked the male employee for his first and last name and employee number.  I did get a conformation number of the payment, however, the very heavily accented male employee told me his name was Adam Smith.  Yeah, right.  

Kudo's to all that have posted so I had some amunition to deal with this perhaps corrupt company.  To everyone.  WE ARE THE PEOPLE.  If you have a problem or think you have been unfairly charged, CALL the appropriate agencys.  They don't know what is going on unless WE tell them.

I have gotten calls from this number..but also three other numbers that also say they are ge money..I am not giving them any information. I have a care credit card but no balance...so I think it is a fraud. I just wish they would stop calling me.

Whats GE Money ???

Thanks for the info.  I used the info to go online and fix what THEY thought was a problem.
