- yef replies to WILLIAM RODRIGUEZ JRYour caller does not read or maintain this web page. What about the name "800notes.com" made you think so? You need to 1. make your comments directly to your caller and 2. find your caps lock key.
- crznlo replies to hannibalIs there any rule as to how late they can call I get calls 24/7 for a payment that was 4 days late. They start calling the day the payment is due. It usually take a couple of day to go through there system. Da
- MHNThis is an office number and this number calls multiple times in the day - even before and after office hours. This number takes much time out of our day to answer the calls that begin with a recorded message, "press one or press two"???? No reason to the message and then when I have tried to call them back and ask that they don't call our office and to take our phone number off their list, the calls stopped for a short time and have now doubled. Fed up with the calls - I don't have time for this.

- ConniwThank you everyone for the information. I was wondering for three days now what was this number 605-355-5648, called from. I do have a care credit account with GE. Now that I know who they are, I will start ignoring the call. Thank you all for sharing your experiences !

- AnneCan anything be done about GE Money Bank having harrassing calls going out to people that don't even know why they are calling?

- William replies to lametthey also handle Sam's Club and Walmart Credit. They are absolutely the worse company to deal with.. I had Sam's club credit card which I paid what I thought was on time every month but I never checked my bill, just assumed that everything was ok.. what I didn't know was that they had changed my due date without notifiying me and were charging me late charges every month.. when I finally realized it I called them to find out why they (GEMoney) hadn't notified me of the change I was told they were not required to notify me. So I paid up the late charges and paid my next payment a days later so as not to incur any more late charges... the next bill I get says I am 30 days late on my payment.. I called and asked how that could be I made the payment over three weeks early... their answer was that it was credited to the previous month and that no payment was recieved for that month.
- NixterHmm...I just started getting calls from them (this number) today. EVERY 4 HOURS. In their defense, I did overlook my minimum payment last month (I thought I paid, but apparently brain farted). I have an interest free period credit account with Kittles Furniture. I missed the payment which was due 4/28/13, but didn't start getting calls today (5/18/13). I have dealt with them before with Care Credit w/o difficulty. I will take above comments under advisement, though, regarding late processing on payments for interest free periods etc. What I do with my payments such as these, I pay them through the GE site and I write down the amount paid, date paid, and confirmation number on my statement and file it away. I then verify with my bank statement on-line within a few days that the payment went through. This way, if they DO try to delay processing, I'm armed. :) I do think it borders on harrassment though, when my payment is not even 30 days past due...calling my phone starting at 9 a.m., and then every 4 hours. I am being treated as if I'm a delinquent of 3 months or something! I've got good credit, and do make timely payments. This one time I overlooked it, and they are harassing me like a damned criminal. Ugh. Sent them payment for last month and this month, 10 days prior to due date for this month. Let's see if that shuts them up.

I am disabled and this really doesn't help my condition at all. - veronicaWoW! So, I've reported GE Capital Retail Bank to the FTC for harassing phone calls that have been coming into my home for 3 weeks now every 1 to 2 hours per day. I have never had nor do I have an account with this company. Had not even heard of it until they began incessantly calling my phone number. I'd called them 2ce to thoroughly and firmly, clearly communicate this information. The first time they hung up on me while communicating with them. I was not shouting or cursing, but firmly telling them "Do Not Call....." Yesterday, again, I spoke with a "Michael" and confirmed he got the information clearly and that I was not hung up on. The calls quit for the day. This morning they began again with 605-355-5648 another one of the 4 different ones I've received calls from. Outrageous and Despicable Conduct GE!!!!!
While I have not done business with these people, I want to warn everyone possible that if they harass people who do not have an account with them, surely it is ill advised to do business with them. Shame On You GE Capital Retail Bank!- Caller: GE Capital Retail Bank

- Jerry King| 1 replyPhone call at 8AM, answered no one there. Caller ID says GE Capital. Checked my Wal-Mart Discover online, which is through GE Capital all up to date. Called the number 605-355-5648, automated system says it is GE Capital Retail Bank and ask for my card or account number, hung up. This 605 number isn't the number on my card. Called the number on the card, automated system says it is "Wal-Mart Discover". Talked to a live person she verified that my account is up to date. I ask about the call I received, she apologized but had no other information. GE Capital is a division of the General Electric Corp. I worked for GE many years ago (one of the technical divisions) and I find it hard to believe that a major corporation (number 7 on Fortune 500 list) is pulling the kind of crap posted on this site. Hopefully my call was the result of some over zealous [***] with access to an automated dialer and nothing else to do. I feel for you folks having to put up with this bull.
- Caller: GE Capital Retail Bank
- Jerry King replies to Jerry KingFollow-up: Called 605-355-5648, the automated system again ask for card number, didn't enter it, then ask for SSN, didn't enter it. After being on hold for 5 minutes or so got a live person. I didn't give him any information other than my phone number and ask why I was called. He checked their system and could find no record of a call to my number. Does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing? Caller ID can be spoofed but that sounds kind of senseless.
- jackie wortman replies to Meits GE capital lone company. they are a pain in the neck to deal with
