here is something you can do. Tell them you are recording the call, tell them it's 7am your time, as it is illegal to call you before 8am.  If the person continues to talk and try to collect from you, and is rude, or will not listen to you telling them of the time, then hang up, and call back to talk to their legal department.  They will settle with you....as they know they have broken federal law and will not want to get sued and fined by the federal trade commisision.  I did that...recorded the calls, and got what I wanted from Bank of america, and a couple of other collectors.  I have the recordings still, if they want to make a fuzz about the money owed.

Yet another low life who cant get a real job.  Call came in at 8:15 AM.  Dont these characters think people are at work this time of day ?  And, why bother to call and not leave a message on my machine ?  Duh.

they start calling just before 7am. they call everyday 4 times on my cell, 4 times on my home phone and 4 times to my wifes phone. I think that I will try what you did.

I keep getting these calls as well. I cosigned for my ex gf's operation using care credit and she assures me she has been making monthly payments. I will make sure to look into this with extreme caution. Is there anyway to get a class action lawsuit going?

They constantly call from different numbers like they are trying to fool people.  What a bunch of [***] Tards.  The Bill is paid!!

They call all day long 8am to 9pm sometimes every 10 minutes. Don't know the area code so don't answer the calls.Guessing it's debt collector...cosigned loan for ex-daughter-in-law, now she's in bankruptcy.

OMG  they really suck, i have 2yrs to pay off with no interest...but its on there.  I will never do business with HH greg again!!

And I am getting the same harassing calls as everyone else.  Tried to talk to them and she was in INDIA or some where, i couldn't even understand her!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Today is sunday sept 16 so far they have called 6 times here it is only 3:00

they call at 8 am untill 9 pm and all throught the day,,I Mean! really!

I have these guys call me during breakfast, lunch, and dinner almost everyday. I believe it is because i missed a payment last month. In which I have never missed one before. I always get an automated voicemail from GE. the only GE card I have is for auto repair. It's getting so annoying for them to call all the time!!

GE Capital is the owner of my Care Credit account. I only took the card out to pay for a costly operation for my puppy so he could have a chance at a normal life. I had been paying them for the past year+ until one month ago when I was short on work and didn't have payment. First year of payments was interest free and I never had a problem paying the $45 a month minimum. Once the interest was added my monthly minimum doubled and I am now finding it difficult to catch up. This is something I am completely aware of and I have every intention of paying them. I'm only one month behind!
I do not however, need 6 phone calls a day starting at 8am on a Sunday and continuing each and every day of the week from 8am-9pm approx every 3 hours. My cell phone is blowing up with daily calls and I simply do not have the payment at the moment. Sorry, but I have to eat and pay my mortgage first but these phone calls are driving me insane.

Freakin control freaks!  I swear if you are two hours late on your payment they are calling and harrassing!  This will be the first one to be paid off and quick!!  I will NEVER do business with them again.  If I don't have the CASH...I don't buy!!

Have statements that prove bill was paid on time, but the G.E. Collectors have charged me for late fees. They also call at all hours of the day. When i try and contact them no one answers.
