Received a fax from "Montblanc Mergers Associates, Ltd" with an offer to purchase our firm. I'm reluctant to follow instructions for opting out not knowing if it's legit or not.

We received the exam same fax from Montblanc Mergers Associates, Ltd. this morning with an offer to buy our business. I'm guessing it's a scam and would suggest ignoring it.

We got a fax also.  I think it's bogus.  If someone really wants to buy your company they will call you personally to find out if you are interested.

We received same message from same company but with a different number - 416-628-9423.
Obviously a scam!

We just got one.  Looks "scammy".  Garbage.

just received the same fax solicitation with the same phone number. Definitely a scam. Never heard or talked to anybody at this firm in Canada. BB should be notified.

Rec'd same fax - if it looks too good to be true - it is too good to be true.

This is just a Scam.  Don't worry just let it hit the can.

I had the same FAX sent to a satellite office. It smells to me!

We received the same fax, offering to buy our business, very vague. Made me suspicious, and since a google search of the company name pulls this page up as the first hit (and no company web page with that name shows up in the first page of search results), I'm going to assume it's spam.

Got same scam letter and called when guy answeres hit him with the airhorn on my desk....don't call him he has a headache...hahahahaha

We got the same this morning!  Must be a scam.

Got the same fax today.  We have been getting a lot of stuff from people like this recently.

our private club also received this fax today.  it states that they have a client with a $300 million private equity fund who is interested in buying all or part of our facility.  who are they kidding.
the fax asks to contact a Bert Friedman, Managing Director and the letter head is Montblanc Mergers Associates, Ltd., North American Headquarters, 1200 Bay Street Suite 202, Toronto, Ontario Canada M5R 2A5  Office 613.239.4384
this gets me angry that people send this stuff !!!

same fax, same deal here - think it smells fishy.

It's definitely a scam.  Don't fall for it.
