Same fax...same smell

Since I really am interested in selling my business, I searched as hard as I could for any info on this company and couldn't come up with a single hit.  I must admit, I considering calling the number just to see how far this rabbit hole goes.  I obviously assume this is a scam, but what's the scam...it's really got me wondering.  Has anyone actually called?  How could they possibly scam you with a fax like this?  Very interesting.

Thanks to all who offered comments on this Fax communication.  If the letter had an email address I might have responded.  A company with 330 mil and no email?????

I got it I called they purchased my company for twice what I thought it was worth then suddenly my wife rolled over and gave me a kiss goodmorning

Got same message from " Bert Friedman" ...300 million equitiy firm wanting to buy my roofing company.  Anyone else in this industry?

Note that 613 is not a Toronto area code. Toronto is 416. Ottawa ON is 613.

We got the same fax and we are on the painting business....Based on the entries here, I believe it's a massive spam.

I got one too, and the only internet search results for the company are this forum!

Our business received the same fax as well.  I called this morning out of curiosity... I know its a scam but I wanted to razzle them a little bit.  A lady answered the phone, I asked for a website and suprise suprise... she wasn't sure if they had one.  I then asked if they were accredited with the bbb again she wasn't sure if they were.  She asked if I would like someone to call me back, I told her no, it sounds like you guys have some kind of scam going on here and she hung up.

Nice job Brandy.....This is almost as fun as the $$$$$ we've all been offered from Nigeria! Yet another scam to add to the 'ol fax removal list!

same fax, 1200 Bay St is a large office building in Toronto, No listing for Montblanc although lots of other consultants there. They are probably a referral service, not exactly a total scam, but close.

Got the same fax. I did a reverse address look up at http://www.whitepages.com and this is name that matches the address. Did not call 613-239-4384 number Montblanc say's to call, I guess I'm too scam shy to even bother...

I don`t believe them , it`s a scam , why wouldn`t the buyer just call you direct ? Who on earth would pay 17k before the sale happens ? town and country home , fairfield NJ
