this #602-537-9012 or 623-492-6031 keeps calling and hanging up or will just not say anything it's very annoying and thanks for letting us know about them asking for ss# cause thats not good !!!

We are in debt management and have a company dealing with American Express.  My assistant gets repeated calls at my work from 623-492-6031 that are neither wanted nor deserved.

I do not have any business dealings with American Express. Repeated calls to me from their collection department, and when told of same, they always say that they will make notation and calls will cease. LIARS! They keep harassing me like a stalker. I have no business with them. Somebody gave my phone number apparently to throw them off track, BUT AMERICAN EXPRESS IS TOO STUPID to get this through their heads.

I have been getting 2 to 3 calls on my cell from this number for a couple of weeks. I haven't answered, because I didn't recognize the number, and they have never left any kind of message. I DON'T HAVE AN AMEX CARD. If this was legit, even if they were mistakenly calling my number, they would leave some kind of message.

I man called saying he was from American Express on MY cell phone asking for my husband's name. When I said this is MY cell phone he asked if I knew how to get a hold of my husband. I said no and hung up. We have no credit card issues with Amer. Express. The man's tone of voice was very unprofessional and I instantly knew something was not right, which is why I gave him no info!

I signed up with trap call and blocked every number on this list and never heard from them again....

Received a call, no message.

valid AE number they called about late payment.

I keep getting a call from that number as well.  I dont even have an AmEx account.

It's now end of August and it appears that they're still continuing to call on behalf of AMEX as I just got a call.  I'm also notifying AMEX....

They call all day and never leave messages and I don't have any credit cards or debts.

I got a call from this number yesterday.  No message though.  I am going to block it through Verizon right now.  Thanks for all the posts.

We received three calls from the 623-492-6031.  No message left. HOWEVER, when I called the number I received this message "THANK YOU FOR CALLING AMERICAN EXPPRESS" this call may be monitored for quality assurance.... So, yes folks it may in fact be "AMERICAN EXPRESS".  I guess I do not understand WHY they don't leave messages, after all they are "AMERICAN EXPRESS".

Started receiving calls from this number on my cell. Caller indicates that there is an issue with my CC account and they need the full card number to resolve it. Obviously, this entity is trying to secure sensitive information for fraudulent purposes. I have never given my cell number to a card company, and the major card in question is my wifes. Pure coincidence.

Do not respond to this number!

This number keeps calling and leaves NO message. I have no issue with my American Express card, as I just called American Express myself. Please QUIT calling me!

all of a sudden i started getting calls from 623-492-6031 at my work...i have no issues with anything related to amex...most for the time they leave no message, but occasionally they leave a voice mail in a recorded female voice with a british accent telling me this is not a marketing call, and to call an 800 number...more than likely a scam, otherwise it would be a live person, not a recording, leaving more information about the issue, and would leave a message EVERY time they called...not just hang up...

just another scam operator, who somehow got a hold of my work phone number....

just ignore them, and NEVER call back any 800 number they give you...I have gotten legit messages after making an unusual purchase or used a card I dont often use, and so I expect the call...but even then I dont answer the phone, and I dont call back the number they give...I call the number on the back of the card, and they they transfer me to the security dept if they see a flag on my account.

They call me 3 times a day. They never leave a message and if it is AmEx, I have not had an AmEx card in over 10 years cause I hate them.
