I am tired of calls from 623-745-1824.  I have a non-listed, unpublished number, I am on the no call list and still it persists.  I had my number changed about a year ago and started from scratch, did no good, these "companies" dial random numbers.  My current phone does not have caller ID and if I leave my answering machine to pick up they call back several more times in a day and the next day.  When you have children in school, older parents, etc., you feel horrid if you don't answer the phone.

No Message was left. The Caller ID said "LOCAL."

Rachel again, this time with new background voice and music in a Lame attempt to appear as legit. Dosn't work with me. After pressing 1 to be connected with a live scammer, I told the lady that this is a scam that no one falls for anymore and that she shouldbe jailed. She said "well why did you press 1 then??' I said to call you out for the criminalsyou are!!" Then she hung up like all crooks do.

You'll forgive me if I don't take the word of a stranger that a given phone number belongs to another stranger who is being set up for harassment. Admin is alerted.

I come to these sites (this in particular) to get some information from those who have actually talked to the caller, or gotten info on them from somewhere else. I had to wade thru the infighting/snarking to get anything this time. Sad, that.

For those who wish to learn from others who receive these calls, here's a tidbit:  my caller ID displayed "Local". If this caller is truly from AZ, then it ain't local, folks. I'm many miles away in another state.

I have received numerous calls from this number in the past few days. They don't leave a message. They have called as early as 8:00 AM, EDT, and ring 2 or 3 times and hang up. The number comes up as being from Arizona. The "Do Not Call" is not working for me either. Why is this allowed?

The DNC list definitely stops calls, but only from legitimate businesses.  Crooks don't care cause chances are they won't be caught.  It's just like taking guns away.  The crooks will still have them.

called twice today and call before on another number, Credit card reduction. Scam all the way, the call was from Arizona, I live on the east coast, and I don't pay fee on my credit card anyway. This is a scam. Says local on my caller ID how stupid can people be.

An out of town number with a caller ID that says "LOCAL".  A legitimate business would identify itself.

I have all the people I'm likely to get a phone call from in my phone phone book,if they don't pop up on my id l don't answer,if their legit they leave a message if they don't it's erased.

Recorded message from "Rachel at card holder services. Press 1 now to receive information on how you can lower your interest rate."

CID said LOCAL.  Just the last of the recorded message.  Blocked.

No message left, did not answer.

Missed 'local' call. No msg left. 'Local' meaning halfway across the country. Number now blocked.
