"to lower your rates" no thanks. prerecorded message asking me to press 1 to lower my credit card rates.

Called my cell phone this morning at 9:53 am and did not leave a message. Caller ID indicates the number is from Phoenix, AZ

Called once yesterday and again today. AZ area code. Left no message. Will block.

Called me in TX, no message, blocked.

Just because the police can find your home doesn't mean that thieves and people who don't care about the police won't ever try to break in. It's the same with the do not call list. Legitimate businesses won't call you. Scammers and identity thieves don't care. You're not protected from bad people just because people offer you a good service.

The caller ID just said "Local". But there's only one area code for Maine (where I live), and 623 isn't it.
I didn't answer. It rang about 7 or 8 times, then stopped.

Received similar call to other users asking me to press 1 to lower credit card rates.  I am on the donotcall registry.  It's an apparent scam.

Hang-up call from unknown number. Blocked.

Card services.  Answered as XXXX Police Department, what is your emergency.  They hung up faster than I expected.  Now blocked

Called from a Phoenix AZ number with a recording that there was no problem with my credit card but this was my final notice to reduce my credit card rate to as low as 6.99%  and to press 1.  I pressed 1 and told the woman who answered to remove my number from their call list.  She immediately hung up on me.  I have now blocked this number...

Credit card scam.

Can someone please tell me how putting an entry on here with "Did not answer call", "Didn't leave message", etc.. - how does this help ANYONE querying this number?  Well, I DID answer the call.  It is "Credit Card Services" - the telemarketing scammers who utilize various numbers to get you to answer and "lower your interest rate".  I hung up, as I've already had my limit on scams for today.  I answered because we have a child living in Arizona.

Credit Card services scam.  Called me 10am February 20, 2016.  It was a pre-recorded message saying I qualify to lower my credit card interest.  I hung up.

623-745-1824 called with chirpy pre-recorded message claiming to be my (unspecified) credit card company inviting me to "press one" to lower my rates- last chance! How stupid do they think I am?
