Yrs, it is very helpful to get a bird's eye view of the number of people receiving similar calls. The " hang up" is the first sign that it might be a spam/scam call.

I blocked this call and didn't answer.  A few days ago, I blocked a call from Weymouth, MA. Then I got an unknown call. When I pressed call back, I discovered the unknown call came from the blocked number in  Weymouth. I am on a do not call list, but I suspect these people are using more than one phone number.

Called and didn't leave a message. I'm going to block number.

just called... did not answer, no message... showed as LOCAL on my caller ID... so much for the DNC list...

credit card scam. If you get a call from  623-745-1824, block it. (but of course, they'll call again with a different number)

Called twice within the same day - 11:14am and about two hours later at 1:16pm. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message either time

In hawaii. deleted and blocked

Called at 3:40 PM, rang a few times, no message.

Answered:
"Hello, this is Rachel from card holder services..."
It's a recording.  Don't bother answering - just block it.

Do not call list doesn't work!

One, the DNC list is NOT a call blocker.
Two, there ARE exceptions.
Three, The DNC list is NOT a call blocker (just in case you didn't get it the first time)
Four, criminals aren't going to follow the laws anyways
Five (just so we're clear), The DNC list is NOT A CALL BLOCKER

SIX: They didn't violate the Do Not Call law!

I mean, WTF – how dumb can you be? If calling a number and not leaving a message were a violation I'd be guilty of a hundred DNC violations! I bet you would, too.

Called left no message. I agree as soon as I put my number on the do not call list I get all these calls. Just another number for me to block .

My telemarketing calls have reduced considerably the last several months. My blocker used to block probably 15-25 calls per week but since Jan 2016 that has went down to 3or 4 calls per month. But it was too good to last as2IRS scam calls this week already and today "Rachel of card services" has decided to come calling. It had been at least 6 months since I have received that call. Anyway Ipressed 1 and told her" that they are nothing but low life crooks and scammers" and of course being the losers that they are they hung up.

I just got called by this number... again.  I pressed "1" to speak to a rep.  Once she answered I told her I'm on the do not call registry and that they need to stop calling.  She said nothing and hung up on me.  I did report this to donotcall.gov - wonder if that will help.  They go by the company name Member Services.

Received call from 623-745-1824 - just ONE of FIVE unwanted calls received TODAY !!!  (PROOF the No Call List is a complete joke on us)
Caller ID showed MEMBER SERVICES.  Did not answer phone.  Caller left no message.

Caller ID showed as "MEMBER SERVICES" on my handset, but shows as "LOCAL" in my cable caller ID log. %^&( spoofers!
