Arizona call, no one there when I picked up.

Called my work cell #, that's never used for any credit card or any other business.  No messages. Scammers

yay - 2 more calls within last hour.  Stupid is as stupid does.....

I have a lovely button to push, installed on phone, that tells callers to get lost.  I used it when this number called me.  If it was a robocall, they likely will call again but I will never answer.

Call said it was a local call, which is not true.  Area code is from Arizona and I am in Oregon.  The message was the same as FarmerFlyGirl received.  I did the same thing that she did, pressed 1 to talk to a representative.  When I asked to be removed from their call list, the lady hung up on me.  BTW not answering the phone does not stop them from calling.

Same thing, LOCAL with 623 -745-1824.  Didn't answer, but then another call came through which I did pick up and it was about my credit card.  Didn't wait to hear it all the way through.  I did hear that I had no problems, but if I called, unfortunately I hung up and didn't get the number, I could lower my credit rating.

Received call 1:32 pm, 03/17/16, CID said "Local" (only). Answering machine picked up, left no msg. My area code is 414, so when I saw the 623 a/c code, well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this was another B/S call.

These are old scams with new numbers that, by the amount of people replying, appear to need more money again. Sad that these scammers feed their children with ill-gotten gains. They aren't robbing from the rich.

Recording stating there wasn't a problem with my current account but was urgent I contact them about lowering my credit interest to as low as ____% & to consider this my last notice.

Ha ha ha.......how many "Last Notice" calls will they make this time?

Called home # twice today, on DNC list. Didn't answer no message left.

Don't know the number. Do not answer any calls not recognized; Another scammer who needs to have an itch unable to reach;

No one there, read 'Local' not the area codes in Oregon

They never remove you.  I've asked them to remove me 4 or 5 times. Sometimes they pretend nice and say removed, or they just hang up on me. Once they got really nasty to me so now I don't answer and block as soon as I realize who it is.  They rotate to different numbers but same message like you listed.

Received call from them too but I don't answer the number if I don't recognize it any more. You can request they take you out of the system but they never do.  I think if you do answer, you just confirmed you're a good number so they rotate to new numbers to call you cause I've blocked them every time I realize it's the credit card scam and I still get calls from them. Like I said, I don't bother answering unfamiliar numbers now.

I LOVE that idea!  They're going to call anyway.  Why not have a little fun---before you block them!

Have all the fun you want. Just keep in mind that answering only confirms you have an active number. I prefer to ignore calls from an unknown source.
