Honestly i got a call from 646 520 0697 and i was exited i got called back from a job i tried to call back but the call never goes through so i searchedon the wed and i found out severl reports on this company being a false employer the companys name is (employment select) look on rip off report . com  put in http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/344/RipOff0344480.htm    and you will see for your self

I got the call at 9:31 this morning and didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number... I guess just ignore it.

I too received a call from this number today at 1:31pm about verifying information for an application that I had submitted online.  I could not talk at the moment and she told me to call the number back that called me and I could go thru the verification process.  The number is a fast busy signal!  I too had received the emails asking about my cell phone carrier and such.  I also received a call from a guy who sounded like he was from India about me furthering my education.  When I explained to him that I was not interested in furthering my education he said what are you looking for a JOB?  Well duh!  Yes, he said I'm sorry I can't help you with that and hung up..

got a call. i guess i didnt wait long enough for the recording to start...i hung up because my phone sucks and often calls dont connect properly hah

i got a call from 1-646-520-0697 on jan 19,at 130 pm. they told me it was for a job that i applied online. i hung up cuz i found it wierd. that is scarey. you never know wat type of information they might have. they can mess up your life.

I received a call from this number this morning as well. as a general rule if someone calls me and it's a recording I hang up. Any company who is not going to put a real person on the phone to call you about anything isn't worth anything. I am unemployed and desperately seeking a new job, I'm really glad I didn't stay on the line.

I too just got a call from the same number 646-520-0697 at 9:56am.  Have no clue who it is but after reading your threads I am going to ignore it.  It must have something to do with jobs I have applied for.

I recieved a call from this number today at 9:10 am.  I got a recording advising that they were calling about a job that I had applied for and that I would need to verify information and that I need to be on a computer with internet.  So I waited for someone to come on the phone and she asked for my phone number. I gave her my number and she pulled up something with my name.  I asked what job I applied for and she advised that I applied for Office Service Manager, I asked what company and she advised that company wanted to stay anonymous.  Advised that I was not at a computer, so I ask for a number to call her back and she advised that I can call the number on my phone, I advised that there is no number on my phone and I was given 202-403-0825. I called the number and got a fast busy and I also called back the above number and got the same fast busy.  I check my application and I did not see that I applied for this position.  I will not be calling back

just received a call from  the 646 520 0697 at 9:25 am. Did not answer the call and happened to be online so googled the number and came up with this site. I did apply for a job online through Craigslist which I later recognized as a marketing scam. Thanks to all the postings here, I am glad I did not have to waste anymore of my time by calling them back for a dead end lead.

Just got this call.  I don't answer unknown numbers so I looked it up.  I have not applied for any jobs in months yet that is what they called about.

This is not a New Jersey nnumber....it is a New York number.

I received a call from 646-520-0697 at 9:20 am. They called my cell phone stating I just applied for a job online (it was a recording); I waited on hold for several minutes but no one came to the phone. It took roughly 10 minutes to get a verification specialist as they called themselves.  I spoke briefly to Craig saying I was on my cwell phone and the battery was going to die was there a number to call back at and he told me " We cannot call out but you can call the number on the caller ID."  I said okay and ended the call.  Like many of the other post I found it odd and tried the number and got a fast busy signal so started googling the company Employment Select.  Found this site and many others complain about the same thing.  The common thread I have read is most of everyone has tried to apply to a job through Craig's list in various cities.  And yes, like the rest of you I am searching for a job and this got my hopes raised and well.... now they have fallen again.  So to all of us battling this: Hang in there.

I just receive a call from them, I applied  to a lot of job these days and I was very  excited when I got the call they asked me to stay online and the phone cut off .When I called back they rejected my call.I am glad I come to this site, I guess it's just a scame.
