i posted something on craigslist re: my missing dog this past thursday (2/2) and got a call from this number. the caller (male) left a message that he found my dog and would meet me at 11:30pm that night near the Giant in his neighborhood to give my dog back. this was a very, very sick prank, because my dog was taken to a shelter that night by a kind-hearted woman and recovered my me the next day. I truly hope Karma comes down extremely hard on this individual. I continued to get calls from the same # that night. the 1st time i answered (after midnight) it sounded like a party line with tons of voices on the line...it then pared down to just 2 men...both from Barnes & Noble stores. the next few times it called i answered and no one was there. Is it possible someone is using this number/skype to play pranks on people?

Could just be that someone who is using Skype has the wrong number, namely yours, so you may just want to answer it and set them straight, they may be thinking that they are trying to reach someone but actually have the wrong number.

I use Skype and this is the number that comes up on anyone's caller ID that I call. So whether it's someone you know or someone you don't know the person is using Skype.

This is a number used by scammer's,they get your number off Craig's list and use this number to hide behind.

I just got this same kind of call; supposedly I filled out a ballot somewhere, which I NEVER do, and he wanted all kinds of info, like my age, marital status, etc.  Barely spoke English, and miraculously hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor.  Hopefully not too many people fall for this nonsense.

I received a call at 1:24 am.  It rang twice and no one was there.  The number was 661-361-3000.  Then another call a few minutes ago and the number was 661-380-3000.  I answered and no one was there.  Then the caller hung up.  I done know that when my brother calls, the 661 number comes up.  We are all Skype.

I told the guy that he just called the private number for the police department. He hung.

Got call from this number. Was DHL telling me about a package being delivered from Britain that i ordered and somebody needs to be home to sign it.  I did order the package and it is getting sent DHL so must be true. have to wait and see. Must be this number is used by a variety of companies and peopple for good and bad reasons.

This number is a transfer number. Scammers use it all of the time. They use it to give you other numbers to call and tell you that you have won something or threaten you will some bogus law suit to get your ss#.

You can answer it, but do NOT give them any personal info.The left me a message to call the following number 347 606 4351. Google it and it is all there to see. Many bogus deals.

Ah, thanks for the hint on how they got my number. I had posted on Craigslist for a rental I had. I replied for them to call me.   LOL They sure did. LOL  Mystery solved. Thanks.

They are very hostile and rude. Threats and was told that only God could help me now.  Sick creeps.

It's a skype number...

A man name Alan Obstler called me twice telling me I was hired for a job. but he never interviewed me or told me the location and he wants me to send him all my info through email. I think its a scam.

This is a number comes from a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) provider, currently I believe it belongs to Skype. I suggest picking up the number.

Just received a call from this number. They identified themselves as being employed by the Virgin Group and wanted me to come tonight to Wash DC (I live in VA) to claim my prize and listen to this presentation. I asked how many won and he said 30. Later in the call I was turned over to a manager and when I said that I was unavailable tonight he asked when I could make it. I questioned him saying I thought only 30 won. Was it that if I could not make this group of 30 that I would then fit into the next? He also mentioned that my wife and I should attend. I mentioned that I was single. He said that he wanted to hang up and call from his personal line that was free. I agreed. I never heard from him again. SURPRISE SURPRISE!
